Prosecutor Jin nodded as a sign of understanding what he had said. He patted him on the back and left.

"Prosecution, you may call in your witness." The judge commanded.

"Your Honor, the prosecution calls Shin Mi Soo." Prosecutor Bae declared.

Shin Mi Soo sat on the witness's stand and was sworn in. Sol watched as she was asked questions.


"What is your relationship with the victim?"

"Kwon Na Mi, the victim's daughter, is my best friend."

That made Shin Mi Soo swallow hard before she said, "Ne." Meanwhile, Sol jotted down notes. She even wrote how nervous she looked.

"I witnessed the defendant entering Abeonim's house."

"What were you doing there?"

"I came to give Abeonim his daughter's things she lent me when the defendant suddenly went to his house first."

"Why didn't you go?"

"I didn't like him for Na Mi so I avoided him."

"What was he wearing on that day?"
