#1. Farewell to Snezhnaya

Y/N POV

I wake up to the loud sound of voices arguing over what seems to be...cereal.
"Are you actually kidding me right now -_- "
I get out of bed and storm downstairs enraged as can be ,and shout at the top of my lungs
"Are you seriously fighting over FROST FLAKES!"
As I look down I see Childe and Scarra immediately let go of each other and stand in silence.
I ask
"Why can I hear you two from all the way upstairs, IT'S 7AM WHY ARE YOU UP SO EARLY"
Childe begins by saying "Apologies m'lady, I woke up abit too early, I was excited for our journey today."

This fool thinks I care '-' I'm tired!!!
"There is a reason I said we leave in the afternoon Tartaglia, we will be arriving there at night, AND that still does not explain why you two sound like you're fighting in the goddamn archon war!!"

Childe continues "Right apologies, I may have accidentally wandered into Scarramouche's room waking him up, then proceeded to come into the kitchen where we started fighting over cereal that he thinks he deserves because I disturbed his sleep."

How in the ass are these 2 classified as deadly threats to Teyvat when they're fighting over who gets the frost flakes!?!?! This is not what I needed to start off the day with, two grown men fighting for food is not what I need to deal with right now.

Ever since what happened to Lady Signora there has been alot of chaos in Snezhnaya. Along with  our fatui members plotting revenge schemes and trying to attack Inazuma. I have been issued to go to Inazuma to handle political matters since we already have what we need, there is no need to waste time, energy and resources fighting for something was inevitable in my opinion.

"Enough with this, I am already dreading this trip and I do not want to have a headache before I even properly woke up. So can you just give it to Scarra so we can sort ourselves out and discuss our plans...please Childe."

He looks at me with eyes of understanding because he knows the main reason I'm not the most ecstatic about this trip is because I know I'll run into him again. He is the head of the Kamisato clan, ofcourse running into him is inevitable considering I'm staying there for political matters.

Childe heaves a breath of defeat and let's Scarra have the frost flakes. Finally...
Scarra approaches me and says
"Don't worry about him, you will be fine, just remember why you're there and don't. freak. out. You can't afford to have the clans and Shogunate see you as a threat at any cost. The situation is very sensitive between the Fatui and Inazuma , they will not care that you are actually one of them so be careful. "

Before he walks away he says "I'm sorry I can't be there with you..." And just like that I dread going there even more. "If I'm getting sympathy from Scarra then I'm definitely a lost cause"

Childe comes up to me "You will be fine y/n, you're way more composed than the rest of us so don't worry, and besides I'll be there with you ;) "

"That just means I'll have to babysit on top of sorting out these political matters..."

"Hey I am perfectly capable of being supportive!"

"Whatever helps you sleep at night Childe. Now come on go pack up and get dressed so we can discuss our game plan for when we get to Inazuma"

"Yes ma'am"

°○°After Packing up°○°

"UGH I'm done finally!" "Why do I have to stay for so long anyway"
I'm sure they could have gotten someone else to do it. Well the other harbingers are abit... , okay nevermind I completely get why I was assigned this by the Tsaritsa. I need to stick to the mission, ensure I show that the Harbingers do not plan to retaliate because what happened was something Lady Signora took into her own hands and was not forced upon her, get the remainder of fatui members scattered across the islands to avoid any further conflict and lastly...try to enjoy the fact that I will be going home after years of being away.

I wish it didn't have to be like this Ayato. I wish you didn't have to see me as someone who betrayed you...
If only things could have worked out between us...

I come back to reality and realize we have about 2 hours before we leave for Inazuma.
"Time to meet up with Tartaglia"
Our bags are put onto the boat that we will be taking to Inazuma. With the enhancements that have been put on the boat and judging by the weather, we should reach Inazuma by nightfall.

"Hey there Comrade, ready to eat" he says with a smile.
"Yes, let's get some king crab cakes 😍"
" You read my mind y/n"

After we ate I began explaining what we will do when we get there.
"Okay so firstly we will be getting there very late so we need to go to the Inazuma Lodge to book our floor since we're staying for quite some time. We will be staying together so no problem there and tomorrow we will need to unpack and get ready to meet with the Kujou Clan so we can properly meet them and introduce ourselves. Got it?"

"Understood Comrade. Shall we walk to the docks"

"Why not, we're going to be away for a while so no need to rush our departure."

"Farewell Snezhnaya" Childe and I both say as we get onto the board the ship.

That wraps up chapter 1. I hope you enjoyed. I wanted to show the friendship dynamic these 3 have before jumping into the Ayato part🙃.

I will try to post every 2 days maybe, since I want to write multiple chapters at once so I can post like 2 at a time or smt. I just want to be prepared and with everything that's happening in genshin I hope we get an Ayato banner soon. Bye bye 🙃✨
