summer 2013 was when it all started. it was when everything started.

when i was 14, i loved myself. i always compliment myself, i would tell myself how pretty i am, i loved food and i never cared about my weight. until one day, of course. it was gym and our school coach told us to stand on a weighing scale. all the girls were worrying, calling themselves fat. but i was so confident, i told myself that the number on that scale doesn't matter.

it was my turn to weigh myself. i had a big smile on my face, nothing can turn this smile into a frown. well, so i thought. i stand still and straight on the weighing scale and i could hear the girls laughing. i was curious at what they were laughing at so i looked down at the number on the scale and thats when i could feel my tears in my eyes. i wiped it off before anyone could see it. 70 kg, 154 lbs. all the girls started laughing and pointing at me. i faked a smile so everyone would think i'm fine. and thats when it all started.

thats when mia became my best and only friend.
