Y/N POV
After two and a half grueling months, B is finally graduating Basic. We're all there, even the crew shows up. We sit in the stands, excitedly. Soon we see the see the boys and him marching out, in rank and file. They sorted the training platoon into species, so they had four main lines. The biggest line consisted of imps, the second biggest consisted of sinners, the second smallest consisted of Succubi, and the smallest consisted of hellhounds. With 25 imps, 10 sinners, 9 succubi, and 6 hellhounds. A military March is played, and the new soldiers put on a show. They look amazing, their uniforms in perfect condition and order. I look at their drill skills, and holy shit they put mine to shame! I can barely spin a bayonet, let alone the whole damn rifle! Speaking of their rifles, they look weird. They don't have a traditional bolt, but some sort of pull back system, Something I've only seen on machine guns. I'm geeking out hard and Loona noticed.Loona: Wow, you don't even get this excited during "alone time," what's got you so excited?
Y/N: Just the drill, it's so well put together!
Loona: What?
Y/N: the theatrics, what they're doing now.
Loona: Huh, looks easy enough.
Y/N: oh ho ho! That's what you think, but it's actually more difficult then it looks. B probably spent about half that training just on this.
Loona: really?
Y/N: Yeah! That's why I'm geeking out so hard!
Loona: Yeah that makes sense.
Y/N: shhh now, the general is talking!
The general walks to a large podium, and starts saying the stereotypical things that you'd say, but now he announces.
General: Now, for training platoon awards, of which there are three. 1. Best Behaved, 2. Best rifle marksman, and 3. Most likely to become a general. We start with 1, best behaved. The best behaved soldier in the platoon during training was Blitzo Fuchs, with the best attitude, attention to detail, and the best responses to questions the drill sergeants have ever heard.
B about faces and marches to the platform, marches up to the general, puts his rifle at his side, and salutes. The general hands him a plaque, and says.
General: Just stay here son.
B looks confused, but does as he's told. The general says.
General: Blitzø you are also being awarded the Best Marksman award for proficiency and excellence with the German Gewehr 98 bolt action rifle, m1928a1 Thompson sub-machine gun, and M1a1 carbine semi-automatic rifle. Good job son
The general hands him the plaque, and I jump up and cheer.
Y/N: I taught him that!
Loona: sit down idiot!
Y/N: Shit sorry hon.
I sit back down, my legs shaking with excitement. As B goes to go back to his line, the general says.
General: And Son, you have been deemed the most likely to be a general, get back up here
B looks like he's been asked if fish drowned, confused. He walked up, and was given the third and final plaque. The General says.
General: Is there anyone you wish to thank?
B: Sir yes sir, permission to speak freely sir.
General: Permission granted private.
B: Thank you sir. First off, I'd like to ask my parents, Y/N and Loona Fuchs to come down, if that's okay sir.
General: Go ahead.
B: Well I know my dad is here, I heard him earlier, Cmon down!
Loona and I stood up and started walking down. There was a gate there that would open when the graduation was over so the families could talk to their soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen, shit like that. We get there and the soldiers guarding it nodded at us, and opened them. We walk through and up to the podium. I was in my uniform, I saluted the general.
Y/N: It's a honor sir
General: The honor is all mine, I love seeing fellow First World War German vets
Y/N: wait what?
General: I fought for Germany in the First World War.
Y/N: Oh, what a coincidence!
General: Yes it is, anyways, let us continue?
Loona: Yeah
The ceremony continues, B telling my story, how I fought in ww1, and talking good about Loona. Wow, I thought I was a kiss ass but he brings it to a whole new level. Soon the ceremony is over. All the new soldiers walk around trying to find their families. The crew walks up, give their regards, and run back to the office. I hug B, saying.
Y/N: I'm proud of you son, very proud of you
He hugged me and laughed.
B: Thanks dad, I appreciate it
Y/N: Go out drinking?
B: Fuck yes, I haven't had a proper drink since before training!
Y/N: Well we'll go and get hammered together then Eh?
B: Heh, sounds good pops
Loona: Hey assholes, I'm coming with you!
B: Alright ma, let's go!
We walk to our car, and hop in. We drive to the nearest bar, and drink until we can barely walk.
