"Mommy!" Yelled a tiny voice as my legs were being jumped on. I let out a hmph and sat right up trying to caught my breath after sitting up.

"Elizabeth Heart what have I told you about jumping on people?" I ask her while smiling.

"To do it and then run why?" She asked innocently.

I smiled at her before tackling her to my bed tickling her, being careful not to crush the tiny human in me.

You see 6 months ago I found out I was pregnant with my dead husbands baby he passed away two weeks after we found out. He was so excited and happy hoping for a boy but was met with a horrific car crash.

The three of us have been pulling ourselves together ever since.

After our tickle fight we both get ready for the day by eating breakfast and getting dressed. By the time it was all said and done we got in my truck and we're off to the store.

Today was Monday and at the Heart house that me errand day yay right? Nope not when you have a 6 month inside you kicking the shit out of you and a 4 year old wanting to listen to baby shark on repeat.

It's moments like this I miss my husband, Jackson, he was our rock he helped so much with Em and now his gone.

After driving around the parking lot looking everywhere for a space I finally found one and pulled in.

"Ready Em?" I ask her while grabbing my bag before looking in the rearview mirror to see her waiting patiently for me to come get her out.

We walked in and began our adventure when I heard someone calling my name.

"Logan, Logan is that you?" I turn around to see Amy James my ex best friends mom the woman who was my mom when my mom was busy.

"Amy? What are you doing here?" I asked her smiling, her son Asher was still in the army when I left but he stayed behind even when I begged him to come with me.

"I'm on the hunt for some spices but can't seem to find them anywhere. But look at you how are you?" She asked as she got closer to me looking at Em and I.

"I'm good and oh Amy meet Emily my daughter and this little one is yet to be named since they won't show me what they are." I said pointing to my kids. She smiled at me before looking at my right ring finger.

"If you don't mind me asking what happened? Last we talked you two were so happy you were buying a house." Amy asked remembering when she last seen Jackson and I after the wedding.

"A car crash he was coming home and it just happened. He's been gone 6 months now." I told her looking at the floor. I felt her hand on my shoulder before looking at her.

"Does Asher know? He's still your best friend you know. Here maybe you can write him a letter." She said before handing me a piece of paper. "Gotta go but know I'm here for you dear." And with that she was off.
