Saving them

It was silent we hadn't said a word to one another since my out burst.

"This was a mistake. I shouldn't be here I'm sorry to have bothered you I'll get Em and leave." I said standing up and walking towards the door before I stop.

I see my purse on his dresser that's by the door.

"Before I go I think these belong to you. I'm sorry I never sent them." I whispered grabbing the letters I had wrote to him all those years ago.

"If you decide to ripe them please know that one of them has an ultrasound of Emily in it. The first ultrasound actually." I tell him walking back over to him handing them to him.

"You wrote to me?" He asked surprised taking them from my hand and looking at them. He pat the bed beside him. "Please sit before you pass out again." He said softly.

I went back and forth with myself before I sighed and sat down as he opened the first letter. While he read the first letter I looked around.

His room wasn't big but also wasn't small it fit Asher just right. He had his bed in the middle along with a nightstand on each side. He had a small book self be side the bathroom door and his dresser in between his bedroom door and his closet.

I look a little closer on his bookshelf to see some pictures. I carefully got up to get a better look. He had a picture of him with Todd and Amy. Him and Austin but what got me the most was the one of him and I.

Flashback

"I wanna get a picture of you two I can't believe y'all are high schoolers now." Amy said excitedly as she got her camera from her purse.

"Okay kids squeeze together." She said smiling.

Asher and I stood up together and looked at Amy with a smile. "Shoot closer" she said.

"Honey they can't get any closer then they already are. Just take the pitcure love." Todd said pulling Amy in close to his chest.

Asher put his arm around me and pulled me into him but what I didn't know was he wasn't looking at the camera he was looking at me the whole time.

End of flashback

I felt him put his head on my shoulder and his arms come around my rather large waist. My head fell back onto his shoulder and leaned back.

"Why didn't I know about this picture?" I asked quietly.

He shrugged before turning me around and pulling my side into his chest.

"There's a lot you don't know but that's gonna change." He whispered. "Come on there's two toddlers in the living room and you two need to eat and don't argue." He said with a small laugh and a smirk at the end.

I let out a small giggle before letting him pull me to the living room. "Mommy!!!!" Emily yelled and running to me, causing Austin to jump out of his skin at her sudden loudness.

"Emily be careful your gonna hurt-" But I didn't get to finish as she ran into my legs almost knocking my over but Asher already knew what was gonna happen and caught us both.

"Thank you." I said looking at him but he only nodded before looking at the tiny human hugging my legs.

"One big happy family right there." Austin said before we heard a click and see him run to what I assume is his room.

"Austin!!!" Is all I hear before seeing Asher take off after him.
