Logan's POV

I couldn't help but stress today was Valetine's day and it was our first Valetine's together as a couple and I was freaking out. I had it all planned out I was going to cook a dinner for two Austin took the kids early this morning to Ash's mom and had planned to stay with them for the day before heading out tonight to see some old friends.

It's six in the evening and Ash should be home any minute. He started working with his dad so he works most days and comes home around six. He doesn't
let whatever happens at work bother him at home. He's always tired he can barley stay awake long enough to eat dinner. Tonight is going to be just us so we can eat and sleep if we wanted to with on stress of work or the kids.

I finish putting mashed potatoes on Ash's plate when I heard the door open and his boots on the floor. "Honey kids I'm home." he calls out. I step around the corner to see him looking as handsome as always.

He's hair is tossed around from running his hands through it all day. "Hey baby how was work?" I ask coming up to him and putting my arms around his neck as his went around me.

"Long. Where's the kids?" he asked kissing my head. "At your mom's with Austin they are staying there and you and I are having a night just us." I say before taking his hand a leading him to the kitchen where I had our food sitting out.

We made small talk as we ate before we went to our room we climbed in bed and watched a movie to which he fell asleep half way through. He was cuddled up to my legs with his head resting on my stomach. This is what I want for the rest of my life him and our kids.

Who knew that after five years of not talking to each other we would be brought back to one another just for him to protect me and our kids from my mistakes. He saved us.
