Jong Woo awoke, his mind still on what had happened last night. He couldn't shake the sick feeling brewing in his stomach. Knowing that Moon Jo was in the room next to him, possibly watching him was giving him major anxiety. He figured the sooner he got out of there the better, so with that he edged out of bed. He didn't bother changing his clothes, he couldn't trust that he would be the only person watching.
He leaped out the door of his inclosed room, he had lost interest in keeping the peace here. There was no use in trying to reason with the unreasonable was his thought process. As he left the residence he felt a weight leave his body. Every minute there left you feeling like you were carrying a Boulder on your back. But as soon as you left that weight had shifted, however, you still had to deal with that part of your brain reminding you that you'll have to go back there.
Breathing in the air from outside, it was like a luxury to Jong Woo. There was a lingering smell in the residence, a damp and rotten scent. He couldn't figure out what it was, but he sure as hell wasn't going to go looking for it.
His phone began to vibrate in his back pocket. He pulled out the phone, it was his girlfriend. The one he's seen one time since moving to Seoul. He knew there was no true connection between them, he wanted there to be. He wanted to love her, he wanted to be jumping with joy every time he saw her face. But this just wasn't how he felt.
He had invested a lot to try and make this relationship work, mainly mentally. Which is why he hadn't just nipped it in the bud already. He had to act like he was in love with her to hide something, something that could never get out. A part of Jong Woo was telling him he should just end it with her before things became too serious between the two.
However, another part of him wanted to hide behind this facade, show the world that he was like the rest of them. He looked up at the sky, the bright sun was beaming. Sweat began to form across his forehead. He turned his head back to the Eden residence before setting off.
The pavement was hot, the heat was attacking Jong Woo's skin. He was sitting at some stairs by his work. He thought sticking close to his workplace would decrease the chances of bumping into Moon Jo. It was getting harder and harder to avoid him these days.
Jong Woo couldn't describe his feelings towards Moon Jo, it was complicated. He hated him, he hated how he followed him around and never gave him space at the residence. But a small part of him enjoyed this, it was exciting having someone be so interested in you. His girlfriend pretty much neglected him from the beginning of their relationship , always too busy to hang out or call.
Though, he didn't mind this because there was never much of a passionate love between the two.
Jong Woo just craved being wanted, and Moon Jo fulfilled that craving. Maybe he would react differently towards him now..
