Moon Jo swings and blood splatters across the wall. He swings again, this time harder. More blood was splashing against the wall, a squelching sound could be heard each time.
He was driving a bat into the head of the "sweaty moron" from Jong Woo's work. He grabbed a knife from his back pocket and began to plung it into his stomach. He struck the guy with the knife around 40 more times before throwing the knife to the ground.
"I did it all for Jong Woo, I hope he appreciates this gesture." He kicks the limp body of the co-worker as he gets up.
"Don't be a piece of shit next time." He sniggeres as he leaves, throwing on a jacket to cover his blood stained shirt.
He wanders off down the hallway, stopping only a few doors down from where he had just committed a gruesome act of murder. He entered the room where Jong Woo was being held, Jong Woo flinched at the sight of Moon Jo.
"Why are you wearing a jacket?" He questions with a somewhat suspicious tone. "It's getting cold.." Moon Jo replied, he always has a perfect lie at the tip of his tongue.
"Look, I just want you to let me free. That's all I ask, please." Jong Woo pleads. "This is for your own safety." Moon Jo replied, with a sternness in his voice. Jong Woo starts looking around, confusion was plastered across his face.
"What does that even mean?" He yelled. Moon Jo got onto his knees, placing his hand on Jong Woo's. "You are unstable.." He whispered in deceit. "You were the one who killed your co worker in a fit of rage."
Jong' Woo's face sunk, he could feel his pulse through his fingers. "That's not true. There's no way that could've happened." Moon Jo smirked at this response.
"Then explain this." He held up his phone, it displayed a picture of the brutalised corpse of the sweaty moron. Jong Woo's fists began to cench as his eyes scanned the picture, he couldn't believe what he was seeing.
He let out an agonizing sob, hanging his head down in disbelief. Moon Jo wrapped an arm around him, sliding the phone back into his pocket.
"I didn't want to upset you, I just wanted you to know the truth." He ran his hands through Jong Woo's hair gently, comforting him in this moment of vulnerability. Jong Woo didn't even care to stop him, he was too stunned to realise. "It's taken care of. You don't need to worry about this anymore." Jong Woo looked towards Moon Jo, surprised by his calmness surrounding the situation.
"What do you mean..?" He mumbled, still not sure what to make of this news. Moon Jo got up, his hand resting on the arm of the chair that Jong Woo was strapped into. "Like I said, you don't have to worry about it. I've taken care of it."
"I'm gonna let you out of here. You've been held against your will for too long." He began to unbuckle the straps attached to the chair. Jong Woo sighed in relief, but also was questioning Moon Jo's motive.
Why would he just let him go? Did he have that much trust in him?
"I just hope you know, I have those photos on multiple phones. "If you betray my trust and take advantage of this, these photos will be shared with the police and an investigation into the murder of your co worker wouldn't look good, would it?
Especially since Ji Eun is missing.." Moon Jo grinned, with a threatening glare. Jong Woo nodded in agreement, he was in no position to anger Moon Jo right now. He got up and began walking out of the room he'd trapped in for the last couple days.
Even the stale air that lingered in the hallway felt fresh when he stepped out of that room. "I'll be keeping a close eye on you, babe." Moon Jo called out to him as he left.
Something about those words sent shivers down his spine. He didn't want to find out what Moon Jo would do if he were to disobey him. He figured it would be best if he was submissive towards him from now on, for the sake of his safety.
