Hi! So I know I'm updating a lot at the moment but next week, spring break ends and dance and school begins. So after Sunday I probably will be updating about 3 times a week. Just wanted y'all to know

Annabeth is 17. Annabeth's POV

I wake up in Percy's arms. He's still asleep and he looks so much younger and less worn down. I suppose we all do, really. He stirs and wakes up.

"Hey Seaweed Brain. Sleep well?" I ask.

"Well enough. Nightmares are getting better." He replies. By that he means less Tartarus dreams more normal demigod dreams.

"That's good. They're getting better for me too. C'mon let's go down to breakfast." At that, his expression shifts slightly. I smirk. "What? Afraid of what my dad'll say? He really likes you."

"He'd better, cause I am so never leaving you. But he's still your Dad. Badass extraordinaire." He replies. I laugh.

"I mean if you wan to be scared of your future in law, be my guest. Otherwise, go brush your teeth because I'm not kissing you." I tell him. He salutes

"Yes ma'am." While he does that I get up and go downstairs to find my Father sitting at the table. Bobby and Mathew were already at school, I know.

"Morning." He says "Sleep well?" He asks with a smirk.

"Pretty decent. Less nightmares on both our parts." I reply with a light blush.

"That's good. Do you want to go to the book store later?" He asks. I perk up.

"Sure! What time?" I ask.

"How about after breakfast? Percy will be fine here on his own, right?." He says, questioningly.I think a minute.

"Yeah I guess." I say eventually. Speaking of Percy, here he comes down the stairs.

"Morning." He greets my Dad and kisses my cheek. Susan walks in the dining room laden with eggs, bacon and pancakes.

"I hope you guys are hungry!"She says with a smile.  We all grab plates and then food. After we have eaten our fill of breakfast, I go upstairs and Percy follows me. I grab a Camp Half-Blood T-shirt and shorts and head to the bathroom to change. After I brush my teeth and hair, I go back to my room and knock. Normally I would just walk in but Percy's here.

"Ok for me to come in?" I ask through the door.

"A-Ok." He replies. I walk in. He's wearing shorts and a Goode High shirt.

"Hey, my Dad wants me to go to the bookstore with him. That ok?"

"Yeah sure. I'll probably just watch TV." He says with a shrug.

"You're the best you know."

"I know." I laugh and then kiss him. A short while later we hear someone clear their throat. We break away quickly and see my Dad standing there.

"Ready to go, Annabeth?" He says

"Yup. Bye Seaweed Brain." I say with a quick kiss.

As we drive, we talk about school, people and how obtuse the people on Jepordy! can be. My dad pulls into the parking lot, and before we're even completely stopped, I'm already halfway to the door. Walking through the doors, I run my hands over the new releases, best sellers and New York Times best rated. No matter what state I'm in, I will always feel instantly calmed being surrounded by books.

"Care for a game?" My Dad asks from the eReader stand. I grin. It's a game we used to play when I was little, to try to keep me from devouring books in under an hour. One person picks a genre and a word not expected or difficult to find in genre. The other person has ten minutes to find a book with said word. Looser picks what we have for dinner, even if he always let me have what I wanted.

"Children's, exponential." I reply, looking at the timer. When he returns, Math Curse by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith is in his hands.

"Classics, time travel." He says. I run to the classics. After scanning for three minutes, I find A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthurs Court by Mark Twain. I jog back to the front, triumphant. The game continues until I stump him with 'Classics, technology.' I also end up buying three books, An Abundance of Katherines by John Green, Enders Game by Orson Scott Card, and a new edition of the Hobbit. As I climb back into the passenger seat of the car, I notice my dad looking at me funny.

"What?" I ask. H e just shakes his head and smiles.

"You're all grown up now. You're a senior, if you had brought your wallet, you'd be driving me right now, you're waiting to hear back for a bunch of scholarships and you're in a serious relationship. I feel old." He tells me.

"You're not old. And you still have Bobby and Mathew. Don't worry about Percy, though. He's scared stiff of you." I say with an eye roll. His grin widens.

"I can always get the shotgun out. It does need polishing."

"Dad!" I exclaim, blushing. He laughs.

"Or I can get the home videos of YOU out!"

That was really fun to write.

Peace out, demigods!
