The credits of 'Elf' start to roll up on the tv screen.
"That was good," I exclaim, commenting on the movie Greg and I watch every year before Christmas.
I wait for his response but get nothing, only loud snoring on my shoulder.
I chuckle to myself and roll my eyes.
"Greg! Wake up!" I shout in his ear, shifting my shoulder in attempt to wake him.
He starts to move and moan, but doesn't open his eyes. "Hmm?" He groans sleepily.
"Your snoring's disturbing," I laugh. "Wake up now or I'll throw cold water on you,"
He shifts again. "Give me a kiss," he cheekily, still half asleep.
"Nope, get up sleepyhead,"
I stand up in front of him, ready to heave him up, but the snow outside the window captures my train of thought, and I find myself staring outside at the completely white surroundings.
"It's snowing," I say, awestruck.
Seconds later, Greg makes a sudden move from the couch, and soon enough, I'm slung over his shoulder crying out and laughing.
"Greg! Put me down!" I laugh.
"Not gonna happen." Greg chuckles as I squirm around in his tight grasp. He opens the front door and a gush of cold air hits my face.
He walks out into the snow and finally puts me down, and I find I can't stop myself giggling.
"Greg! Help me push this please!" I yell across to him, trying to push a giant snowball.
He strolls over casually. "What's that supposed to be?" He laughs.
"It's the bottom of a snowman!" I gape at him.
"Aren't they supposed to be, you know, round?"
I slap him in the arm. "It IS round!" I exclaim.
"Your definition of round is slightly off," he says sarcastically. "And I'm loving the extra grass and leaves you've managed to roll into the snowball." He nods his head as if admiring a masterpiece.
I roll my eyes playfully at him. "Are ya done insulting my work? Help me with the next snowball!" I say, leaning down to roll a smaller snowball.
Suddenly something hits me in the head. "What the-"
I snap my head around to find Greg avoiding direct eye contact with me, and he whistles obnoxiously.
"Greg!" I yell.
He still avoids looking in my direction. "Yeah?"
"Why'd you throw a snowball at me?"
"What are you talking about?" He tries.
I roll my eyes at him but he doesn't see. I scoop a pile of snow and form it into a ball before launching it at him.
"Hey!" He exclaims, his voice so high pitched and so hilarious.
I can't keep myself from laughing, until I see him bend down to make another snowball. I scream and start to run away from him, finding a big tree to hide behind.
"Chloe, come out come out wherever you are," he sings, and I hear his voice getting louder and louder. "You're so gonna get it when I find you," he continues to say.
I watch as he searches around the tree I'm behind, and a giggle escapes my mouth accidentally.
Soon enough I feel his two strong arms wrap around my waist from behind, his breath tickling against my ear. "Found you."
I turn around to face my boyfriend. "What's my punishment then, Mr West?" I giggle.
"Hmmm," he says thoughtfully.
The next thing I know, he tackles me to the ground. I shriek and laugh uncontrollably as his body hovers above me.
"You owe me that kiss from before, pay up," he smiles cheekily; our faces are a few inches apart.
I giggle and obey, perching up slightly so our lips touch, and seconds later we're kissing passionately in the fluffy snow.
