From a young age I always loved to be the center of attention. It didn't have to be positive attention, as long as I was getting it. I was also quite the trouble maker when I was a toddler. I always ended up breaking something.

One day when I was around 17, I met a boy named Jake Sim. Actually, I met him at one of my friends housewarming parties.

"Jake! Could you make me a cup of hot chocolate too?" A voice asked, the male nodded. Heading to the coffee machine. I'm not sure what happened to me that night. But it was love at first sight. I know that sounds cliche but it's the truth!

I was actually pretty good at flirting too, so I made the first move.

"Hey.~" I approached the male. He turned his attention to me, slightly smiling as I linked arms with him. "Hi!" He replied, a light pink tint covering his cheeks. "I'm Heesung Lee!" I exclaimed. "I'm Jake Sim! What brings you here?" He replied as I admired him secretly. "Actually, a friend of mine invited me!" I said, letting go of his arm and leaning on the counter behind me.

You could probably guess how the rest of the night went after that. My mother even mentioned how me and Jake have a very strong connection. My past love life was very...crappy. So meeting Jake made me believe that my journey of love wasn't over.

As far as I knew, Jake was a very sweet boy. My family loved him, and so did I. We all became close quickly, not knowing what would happen in the near future..

Jake came over one day, having to leave for a month or two the next morning. He decided to stay at me and my mothers house, not expecting police officers to be waiting for him as soon as he woke up.

He's a criminal? What on earth could he have done?! I thought as the officers tried to drag him away. Tears ran down my cheeks as once again the love of my life was being taken away from me. I tried my best to keep the officers from taking him, but it was no use.

I went to every place Jake had to be questioned. I wrote to him every day, not receiving a reply. Once he was transferred closer, I started visiting him daily, staying with one of my cousins so I would always be close to him.

Little did I know how much trouble I would be getting into now that I'm in love with a criminal once again..
