Jake's POV

The man raised an eyebrow, standing up from his seat and walking out the door. I was brought out by an officer, and Jungwon was brought into the room I was in. Jungwon ended up confessing that we robbed the depot, but didn't say anything about me.
We were put in a small jail cell together until they informed my mother that I was caught again.
This was my plan though, I knew my mother would help me. No matter what the situation was. She always took my side, painting me to be a perfect well behaved kid.

"My son is innocent! He would never do such a thing!" My mother exclaimed, tears forming in the corners of her eyes. I got to admit that my mother is a good actor.
"Please be silent miss." The officer who questioned me stated, standing up from his chair and reading from a small notebook. He read aloud the things I told him when I was being questioned.
"He claims his name is 'Park Hyunsung'. Is that correct miss?" He asked while putting the notebook down.
"Yes, Of course! Why would my son lie about his name?!" She asked with a slightly annoyed tone. "And he's 17...correct?" He added.
"What a ridiculous question! Of course he is!" A few tears slid down her cheeks, which seemed to slightly convince everyone.
"Mm..okay then.. Then you-." Before he could say anything else, another man came into the room. Whispering something to him and sitting down afterwards.
"Jake sim?" He said, now holding an envelope from the man who just arrived. "You we're one of the two people who escaped the Gwangju jail..?" I mentally sighed, knowing I was done for.

I was soon put on trial with Jungwon in Gwangju, and sadly.. got 14 years in prison. It wasn't even a normal prison. A prison that calls for 10 hours of labor a day for a week. Yes, you're outside. But try and run? Oh, no. You'd be shot in a heartbeat. Dropping dead in front of all the other prisoners.
The others would laugh, or call it pathetic. But for me, I was scared that if I made one screw up, that would be me.
Luckily I wasn't there that long. Since the police didn't think I was that much of a threat, they decided to transfer me to another prison.
But I was put in a maximum security cell in the mean time. Not expecting who would visit me next.
