"Yes that's the gist of it all."

Tommy's mother chuckled.

"Ayo wtf"

They all thought. As she stopped chuckling, she frowned.

"And here we are now... it just keeps getting worse by the day...!"

She says as she buried her face into her palms. Tears threatening to come out any second. She was frustrated, confused and helpless.

She had tried every way to help her son recover. But these past few months was no good. He had episode's more frequently, and it seemed to become worse if that's even possible.

"Miss Simons?"

Tommy's mother was called by a nurse. The nurse was holding a clipboard and seemed focused on their job.

"Uhm, yes that's me."

Tommy's mother stood up as she wiped away stray tears. She approached nurse and waited for them to say something.

"Right, Mrs. Simons I have good news and bad news. Which would you like to prefer to hear first?"

"Bad news."

She says with no hesitation in her eyes whatsoever. The group just behind her sitting down, trying to listen in the conversation.

Of course the nurse noticed and asked Tommy's mother before anything else.

"Would you like for them to hear?"

The nurse pointed at the group, Tommy's mother nodded and smiled slightly at the nurse. The nurse sadly smiled and readied themselves.

"Mrs. Simons, I think you're aware of his condition worsening?"

Tommy's mother nodded sadly, the nurse saw and continued.

"Dr. Smith found old scars, has he hurt himself in the past?"

"No, it's from... someone in our family..."

She replies hesitantly. The nurse immediately understood and continued.

"Right. Ehem, his mental state is deteriorating. And i mean it literally, if he doesn't show any sign of waking up in a week or so..."

The nurse stops as they hesitated to say the least words.

"Dr. Smith decided that we're going announce him, brain dead."

Tommy's mother steps back in shock. She was visibly trembling as she processed all of the information that was fed to her brain.

Of course everyone heard it, Phil stood up and hugged the woman. He knew that she needed it. When he did, she cried.

"I'm so sorry ma'am... we're going to keep him on support until then. Uhm... I'll leave you lot alone for now. If you'll excuse me..."

The nurse walked away, clearly sad but they smile either way. Getting ready to meet another patient.

Phill lead Mrs. Simons to sit down on the chairs. Mrs. Simons was uncontrollably crying. She didn't know how to stop.

But Phil and the others were there to comfort her. They were saddened by the news but they knew she needed comforting as much as they do.

"When are you going back?"

A woman sits down beside Tommy. Tommy sighs as he kept his poker face on. They were sitting on a bench, surrounded by endless darkness.

"Everything is painful. I don't want to go back."

The woman frowns as she heard Tommy's reply. She stood up once again, then 2 doors were summoned.
