Chapter 1: Bruised

Hello readers. I got another crossover idea. I don't know how I keep getting ideas. Just so you guys know this is when Kenma has black hair not dyed just to let you know. 

Kenma's POV

 Kuroo came to pick me up in the morning like usual. The only difference is that his hair is down today. I had my PSP in my hand. Kuroo was nonchalantly having a conversation with me but I didn't pay attention. 

"Kenma we are at school."-Kuroo

Kuroo dropped me off at my classroom. He waved at me then went to his usual class. 

I wasn't paying attention to the lecture. I was playing RPG games the whole time. The teacher doesn't even care anymore because there is no point in correcting me. After finally being able to beat the boss, the lunch bell rang. 

Kuroo was at my classroom door to pick me up. He had his phone out waiting for me. We usually eat on the rooftop so we walked in silence. 

Kuroo will usually nag about me not eating my lunch but today nothing. I looked up from my screen to see Kuroo texting someone with a serious face. His phone then went off. He took the phone call and walked away. I was curious but just went back to the game. 

Lunch is over and the rest of the class was about the same. Kuroo picked me up again to go to the gym for volleyball practice. After getting changed, the coach called for us to gather. 

"Today we are doing our daily run as a warm-up then proceed to have a practice match. Get started."-Coach

I hate doing the daily runs. The worst thing to ever exist. I was the last person but I didn't mind. I looked to see Kuroo was holding his side. That was odd maybe I should ask him later. 

The daily runs are finally over and now for the practice match. Kuroo and I are on the same team. Well, he is easy to toss to so I am not complaining. The coach blew the whistle as the signal to start the match. 

Yaku kept yelling at his teammates. Nothing really changes. The volleyball Fukunaga hit went right past me and hit Kuroo instead. The coach stopped at to game to see if Kuroo was alright. 

"I am alright I could still play. Don't worry about me."-Kuroo said with a smile

I didn't believe him but I know I could talk to him about it later. 

The practice match was over and everyone headed to their designated lockers to change. 

I finished changing and I saw Kuroo talking to a guy with a top-dyed blonde and the sides kept his natural black. He had an average height with light blue eyes, light skin, and a piercing in his left ear. 

Kuroo and he looked like they were having fun. The others were also curious about this mysterious being. I walked up to Kuroo without a care in the world. I was about to tap his shoulder until I heard something. 

"Baji-san, are you alright? Last night's fight was intense especially when the group ganged up on us with bats."-Mysterious Person

"Chifuyu I am alright. It's just a couple of bruises. Nothing much. You worry too much."-Kuroo

"Of course I worry about you, Baji-san I am your vice-captain."-Chifuyu

I decided to tap Kuroo. First, why is he calling Kuroo another last name? Second, what does he mean by last night's fight? Third, what is he a captain of? 

Kuroo noticed me and smiled.

"Hey, Kenma. This is Chifuyu. My best friend. Chifuyu this is Kenma."-Kuroo

"Hello, Kenma."-Chifuyu

"Hello, Chifuyu."

"Kenma, you are going to have to walk by yourself today. Chifuyu and I have some business to attend to."-Kuroo

"Alright stay safe."

"Will do."-Kuroo

"Let's go, Chifuyu."-Kuroo said with a serious face

"Yes, Baji-san!"-Chifuyu

Yaku and the others were behind me. They looked at me for answers.

"Apparently the guy talking to Kuroo was named Chifuyu and is his best friend." 

"Did you know what they were talking about?"-Yaku 

"Well, I heard a little of their conversation but I am confused."

"What do you mean?"-Fukunaga

"Well, Chifuyu keeps calling Kuroo Baji-san. He asked if he was alright because last night's fight a group ganged upon them with bats. Kuroo just responded with it was just a couple of bruises so he shouldn't worry so much."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?!"-Yaku said with a worried tone

"I don't know. This is my first time hearing something like this."

"Kenma, you better keep an eye on Kuroo. I am curious and also worried about Kuroo's wellbeing."-Yaku 

"I will text him later."

"If you find any information please tell us. We are his teammates after all."-Yaku 

"I will."

I couldn't focus on my game at all. Why did Kuroo say respond like that? Some many questions. I should probably eat an apple pie when I get home. Also, I should text him to see if he is alright. 

Too much is happening all in one day. I hope he is alright.
