Chapter 3: Pa-chin

Hello readers. This one is quite long so you are in for a ride.

Kenma POV

After reading the texts, I went right to bed. It was hard because my mind kept spinning with all kinds of thoughts. 

It was a morning with the usual routine but this time Kuroo wasn't there. I was about to text him until I heard a ping of my phone. I thought it was a game notification so I looked to only see Kuroo texting me saying that he is running late so I should leave without him.

I was worried but I went to school. I opened the court doors. Nekoma alternates morning practice and just afterschool practice. Today was a morning practice. I walked up to Coach and told him that Kuroo will be running late. 

After ten minutes of practice, Kuroo opened the court doors with a loud slam. He was dripping with sweat. He must have ran all the way here.

"Kuroo, why were you late to practice?"-Coach

"Sorry, Coach I overslept."-Kuroo

"Don't do it again."-Coach

"I will be careful, sir."-Kuroo

Yamamoto ambled to where I was standing. 

"Hey, I am surprised Kuroo was late. He is usually always on time."-Yamamoto

"I agree with you."

"The walls he is keeping up is sturdy because he doesn't even tell you so it must be quite serious of a secret."-Yamamoto

"I will figure something out."

"If you say so Kenma."-Yamamoto

Timeskip to a year later brought to you by Baji's smooth and soft flowing hair

A year has passed. Okay I know I said and I quote, "I will figure something out," but that was complete horseshit. I tried for many months but Kuroo is more cautious to keep whatever he is hiding hidden. And he did a great job cause I literally no nothing. 

Today, I am excited because I get to see Shoyo. We had a practice match with Karasuno. Kuroo became our team's captain. Kuroo and the Karasuno captain were glaring at each other. It always happens when we met so it wasn't anything new.

While we were playing a boy with droopy lavender eyes and short silver-lilac hair come in panting. He was holding the door frame for support. No one noticed his presence. After he regained his breath.

"BAJI SOMETHING HAPPENED TO PA-CHIN."-purple boy

Kuroo looked a Mitsuya with shock. The Karasuno didn't know who Baji is beside our team.   

"Mitsuya what do you mean by something happened to Pa-chin?"-Kuroo

"I will tell you on the way. Chifuyu is calming down Peh-yan. We need to leave now."-Mitsuya

"I will be there. Let me just change. Also today I babysit your little sisters right?"-Kuroo

"Yeah. Thank you, Baji."-Mitsuya

"Don't fret about it. Could Chifuyu come with?"-Kuroo

"Of course. You and Chifuyu are always so close. You guys are inseparable huh."-Mitsuya

"Yeah well, he is my right-hand man. Mitsuya could you drop me off at my house so I could ride my own bike?"-Kuroo

Bike!? What bike? Kuroo knows how to ride a bike? I don't know what the hell is going on.
