Navratri is going on, we are worshiping and celebrating 9 forms of Maa Durga from Shailputri to Mata Siddhidatri.

Although there are inifinte forms of Mata Durga, one specific form caught my eyes and thought it would be interesting to share.

This form of Mata is know as Radha-Durga.

As you can see it is a combined form of Radha rani and Mata Durga

As you can see it is a combined form of Radha rani and Mata Durga.

She is worshipped in the temple of Bhutabrteshwarnath from Shree Peetha Nilaya Ashram, Germany.

The concept behind this is beautiful -

All the goddesses are a form of Adi-shakti. It is said that while Devi Mahamaya shrouds people with material illusions, she also liberates us from it through the form of Radha-Durga.

This reminds me of a conversation between Rishi Narayan (from Nar-Narayan) and Narad Muni.

Where Rishi Narayan said that Radha rani and Maa Durga are the highest manifestations of prakriti.

Both of them combined into one is divinity indeed.
