Today we shall be looking at the shows of based on Karn. Requested by Ananya166

> SURYAPUTRA KARN

1) Casting - 5/10

The cast of Suryputra Karn was okay. Besides Gautam Rode as Karn, I didn't like anyone.

2) Acting - 8/10

Although the cast was okay, their acting was good. Saurabh Pamdey who played Krishna was not bad, at least he didn't copy Sourabh Raj Jain's acting style but did something his own.

Although I felt Shakuni was trying too hard and sometimes it went overboard.

3) Costumes - 8/10

The costumes were good. I really liked the mukuts of Karn and Krishna.

Although compared to other serials by Swastik productions, the costumes weren't as grand as they could have been.

4) Theme - 8/10

So theme of the show was Karn and his life struggles, which has not been done before. There was no serial based soley on Karn before.

It was just they weren't able to execute it well.

5) Accuracy - 3/10

The show was only remotely accurate to the real epic Mahabharat. It glorified Karn too much.

It even showed Karn trying to stop Dyut Sabha and Duryodhan forcing him to say Vaishya to Draupadi.

But again this serial was about Karn so his glorification was expected.

6) Music - 6/10

The music of this serial was good, they didn't give us much and most of them came straight out of Star plus Mahabharat, with a little change of beats.

But the music of Karn and Krishna were new and good.

MY VIEWS -

If you are a Karn Fan than you would love this serial but if you have sane mind then you will feel that how much glorification has happened.

And because of such glorification the serial becomes cringe to watch, like it showed Karn completely as a white character and mended many facts.

1) Casting - 2/10

Straight up mediocre cast, I didn't like any of them.

2) Acting - 3/10

In this serial, either it was over acting or under acting. The acting style of Uruvi was plain cringe.

3) Costumes - 5/10

The costumes were okay for the men, but Uruvi's costume wasn't accurate at all. Her costume didn't seem like a princess but that of an apsara.

4) Theme - 9/10

The serial was based on the book of Kavita Kane, The Outcast Queen. And there hasn't been much serials based of fictional books, and this was something new.

5) Accuracy - 1/10

As this show was based on a fiction it wasn't accurate at all. The only accurate thing about this was the characters of Mahabharat were there.

6) Music - 4/10

The music was mediocre, but at least it was new music this time.

MY VIEWS -

Both Karn and Arjun fans will consider this serial as straight up cringe.

But one thing I must say that here Karn wasn't glorified as much as he was in Suryaputra Karn.

It did show the flawed part of Karn even when this was a show about him, and as it was a fiction serial and there was no need of accuracy they could've glorified him more than Suryaputra Karn but they didn't.

SO DO I RECOMMEND ANY OF THIS SERIALS ? NO !

I RATHER WATCH CONJURING SERIES AT NIGHT RATHER THAN WATCHING THESE CRINGE.

BUT SOMETIMES I HAVE TO WATCH SURYAPUTRA TO GET CLIPS FOR MY GIFS.....
