katsuki bakugou was a boy of many secrets.
this was a fact. it was obvious. sure, he was loud and hotheaded. some would even go as far as saying he was cocky. though, when it came down to his personal life? what was that?
everyone knew katsuki's name. though, no one knew who katsuki was. katsuki never talked about home, what he liked, or how he felt. the blond would always cover it up with yelling or rude remarks.
that's just how it worked.
that's just how he worked.
and,m that's how he'd gotten through life. katsuki was never a quiet mysterious kid, he was more of a loud mysterious kid. graduating high school with some of the highest grades in the entire school yet he never went to study hall or was caught doing his homework.
so how the hell did he do it?
katsuki wouldn't tell.
and that's how he'd gotten a full-ride scholarship to one of the best colleges in the united states. though, that didn't mean he was going to let his guard down, no way.
katsuki was chosen from a group of eight students from japan flying to the states for this scholarship, all of them were from katsuki's hectic high school years.
and so he just managed, his loud personality eventually calming down as they attended college. katsuki realized that being loud was no use, he could still keep his guard up calmly. though he was still passive-aggressive, that was just part of his personality.
aggression always has been what's kept him safe after all.
but, that was last year. katsuki was now in his second year of college, his grades still outstanding despite his hardly attending his classes and lack of visible studying.
"yo, bakugou! wow, dude, you're actually going to class today?" a voice spoke from behind him. katsuki immediately bristle at this, and he turned around. "did you hear that there's a new professor for business?" a redhead said, grabbing katsuki by the shoulder to catch up to him.
the blond scowled as he looked over, "does it look like i care who teaches us? the fucker could quit just like the last one did for all i care."
"and don't run up on me like that, kirishima. you know how i feel about that shit." katsuki sighed, still walking down the dormitory halls. eijiro only laughed, understanding katsuki nevertheless. "aw, you're finally calling me my actual name? you've softened up, finally." he sighed dreamily.
"oh shut the fuck up. i'm ignoring you for the rest of today don't even look for me, shithead." and with that, katsuki stormed off, turning the corners quickly so that eijiro couldn't find him. though, it was no use since they were in the same class.
katsuki walked to his new class for the semester, avoiding anyone he knew from high school as he did so. so what he cut them off and do everything by himself? that's always been how he liked it.
katsuki clicked his teeth at the thought, it would never work. they always came back to him, no matter how loud or cruel he was, they stuck. and so katsuki only sighed before walking into class, dragging his feet before slumping down in a front-row seat.
moments had passed until an electric blond ran up to him, "hey, kat! did you hear we're getting a new professor in this class? he's so late bro, i'm already getting bad vibes."
"leave me the fuck alone, kaminari. i already know and i don't give a fuck." katsuki grumbled. denki gasped, "you called me my actual name!" he squealed happily.
katsuki clicked his teeth, willing himself not to allow an embarrassing blush to accumulate on his cheeks, "oh my god, shut up fuckface.. i'm trying."
it was true, katsuki was trying to be... nicer. or whatever the fuck his mother suggested. all of his childhood, his mother told him that yelling and name-calling wouldn't get him far in life despite that being all she'd ever do.
"well... keep trying i guess? i dunno." denki shrugged, settling into a seat behind katsuki. much to the blond's annoyance.
a while had passed before katsuki began to hear complaints about how long the professor was taking. he only scowled and rolled his eyes, about to leave the room.
though, suddenly stumbling and quiet rambling of apologies silenced all chatter, and katsuki looked up to the source of the new sound.
it was a tall, hulking green-haired man, his lips trembling and his hair a bit messy. sweat was beading up on the man's forehead as he walked to his desk, nearly tripping over his own feet.
"hello, class! my apologies, i've been caught up in traffic all morning and i ran the rest of the way here. heh, talk about bad first impressions." the man frowned, placing his things down before facing the class, a crooked smile forming on his face as he raked a hand through his wild curls.
the professor was clad in a well-fitting white dress shirt that stretched around his bulging muscles, his arms, and abs filled the shirt out perfectly. the way the fabric to hugged his body was so alluringly. he wore a plain pair of black slacks, which fit him perfectly. his wrist was decorated with a shiny watch.
he must be rich or something. who knows.
katsuki continued to examine the guy, his hands were huge as well, everything about him seemed huge honestly, but his hands were scarred and rough-looking as he flexed them to organize his papers.
this guy, whoever he was, seemed like he was sent from the gods above. from the way he was dressed to that sharp jawline, katsuki's breath was taken away. it was as if this guy had turned on a light switch within katsuki that even he didn't know of. he didn't know how to react.
katsuki felt as if something inside of him was... awakened.
should he... look away? he couldn't at this point. this guy made him feel so many things. things he never felt before nor understood.
"ahem, my name's izuku midoriya! i am now your new professor of this business course. you may call me midoriya as it is preferred." izuku introduced himself.
katsuki hadn't even heard this guy right. was his name deku or something? who knows, katsuki was way too deep in his thoughts to care. suddenly a clean wolf-whistle came from far off in the back of the class causing a small bit of laughter to erupt.
"o-oh gosh! haha... i'm gonna ignore that." izuku said uncomfortably.
katsuki's heart pounded and his face felt warm. izuku was breathtaking. his smile was worth a million dollars and his body was unlike one katsuki had ever seen before.
this guy seemed like a gift from heaven, utterly perfect.
and he was katsuki's teacher?
oh fuck.
this couldn't be good for katsuki's poor, confused heart.
