Chapter seven

The flight is about 5 hours from Alexandria to San Fransisco.

Noah arrives at my house at 5 am and my mom takes the 3 of us to the airport.

"Keep an eye on them." my mother demands; pointing a finger at Jenn..

I roll my eyes

The 3 of us walk through security and the luggage check- in.

"I'm starving." Jenn says as she turns into a diner inside the airport.

Noah and I follow her.. she's obviously in her own world but we have an hour to kill so why not eat?

"I got you a second audition Alice, and we'll be there all weekend so I contacted a few casting agencies to let them know you're here. I got a few offers but they're all non- union. You've done enough of that petty little stuff. we want you to make it big now." She begins

"So.. be prepared to audition for a lot. Everyone wants you." she smiles.

I look to Noah and back to Jenn

"So.. you're making the decisions? What if there was a role that I liked? Non Union or union?" I don't wanna be this type of person but seriously.. I AM the one acting.

"Hmm. Well, the 2 auditions I have are for a television show on abc family. It pays really well and they'd need you for 2 episodes.. possibly 3. And the other is for a movie." Jenn says, totally ignoring my previous comment-

I roll my eyes and take a deep breath.. I'm just gonna let this one go.

"What kind of movie." I try to make is less of a question

"It's a supporting role.. it's the main characters best friend. They'd need you for a few days depending on how everything goes. The lead is actually already casted as Josh Hutcherson."
She totally says that nonchalantly; stirring her iced tea.

"WHAT!?"

She looks up to me.. with a face that says 'you're seriously making a big deal out of this?'

I notice people staring and shrink in my seat

"I'm gonna meet Josh Hutcherson!?"

"No-"

Sad face..

"Not yet.. if you get a callback he will be there for a chemistry test.. Ya know, to see how well you act together."

I'm already super excited yet nervous about this one..

Jenn emails me the script and I study it over and over on the plane.

It's a super cool character named Jenna ..

She has a crush on Josh's character Ryan who is completely oblivious since they've been friends since kids.

There are 2 main characters though.. I'm the supporting character, Josh is the lead and a not yet casted girl is Josh's characters love interest- Holly

Jenna is very quirky, petite and stumbles on her words a lot when talking to or about Ryan.

But he is so madly in love with Holly.

The movie revolves around Ryan who is moving to try and win over Holly's heart in a month.

Holly is a tom boy.. which I really like because the love interest usually seems to be the popular pretty girl.

We exit the plane and get our luggage.

"So when's my auditions?" I ask

"Tomorrow.. so we have the rest of the day to do whatever." Jenn smiles
