Chapter twenty one

***AUTHORS NOTE***
Sorry I've been slacking! It's taken me a while to write this chapter. I've written a little bit here and there but it's not normal for me to just whip up a new chapter. I forget things really easily so I'm constantly having to go back to previous chapter to remember simple things. I know I'm terrible! But sadly this chapter of my life will soon come to an end... There are about 10 chapters left until Riggs gets an official ending.

I'm not sure how many of you will take this, but I promise you the ending won't be disappointing! There are still quite a few chapters left!

I awake from one of the best naps I've ever taken. Crying clearly wears me out... No wonder babies cry themselves to sleep all the time, it's so easy.

I remember what happened earlier, and quickly look at the clock. 8:17...

The thought of Chandler being gone makes me feel a little sad inside... He must've moved me to my room, because I'm lying under my covers in the bed.

On my bedside stand is a note. Nicely written and signed by Chandler.

Morning sleepy head,
Headed back to New York probably as we speak. I'll text you when I've landed, I'm sorry I couldn't stay with you but it was too late to change my flight. I got ahold of Jenn and she said she's flying out to stay with you for the remainder of the weekend and that you have a meeting with the producers of the film before you leave...

My phone has three messages from Jenn, one from my mom, two from Brooklyn and another from Chandler.

Can't wait to see you and hear how everything went!

I'm on my way now. I talked to Chandler, I can't believe it went so well I'm proud of you!

I'll be there in like an hour I landed, I'm so exhausted call me when you're awake!  

All from Jenn...

Hey honey, haven't heard from you since you got to Cali, call me when you can I wanna hear how the audition went! -Mom

I wonder how she'll take the news about Chandler. I feel bad I haven't been talking to her as much as I should.

Alice it's Brooklyn we're all wondering how the audition went text me back when you get this

It's been like 2 hours ugh it's driving us crazy, call me!!!!

Lastly, Chandler.

Taking off

Classic Chandler... He's never been one for words...

I go down the list calling Jenn first, my mom, and lastly Brooklyn and the girls. I tell my mom that the audition went well but not that I got the role because I'm not sure I can't go around telling everyone until I've gotten the approval. Same with the girls who were eager for every little detail. I didn't mention that Chandler was there, I feel like I should tell them in person.

Once I'm done on the phone I walk over to the desk that's in the hotel room and take out my journal; filling into today's events.

I take up almost 10 pages and insert some personal feelings I have, like how I'm not sure if Chandler and I will become a thing again or not, how I feel about the new film I'm going to be working on, etc.

A knock on my door, and I'm officially sharing a room with my agent/manager.

She uses her key to get in, but I guess she knocked to signal to me that 'she's here jump out the window'.
