Peso pov

I woke up and heard screaming. I got up and rushed down the octochute forgetting I was still in my pyjamas, but that didn't matter, somebody could be hurt. So I rushed to where the noise came from.

When I got there I saw the vegimals running around spinning in circles looking like a bunch of spinning tops. "Guys are you all ok? I heard screaming." I said. "Chepa chepa."

I stood there and then turnip grabbed a paper and pen and wrote down 'were all OK we were just playing around'

I sighed in relief and went to go back up to my room and get changed since I was already wake. Once I finished getting changed I headed down to the med bay were about 27 creatures were waiting to be treated.

I saw the first patient, which was a sea cucumber and applied a stronger ointment on its wound and bandaged it up.
One down.
26 more to go.
This is gonna be a long and busy day.

I was working for 6 hours and finally all the creatures were treated and I looked at the clock and realised lunch ended 45 minutes ago. I hadn't even had breakfast, and was frankly starving to I just went to the kitchen and grabbed a small kelp cake as a snack.

I had to order some more medical supplies, so I went to the small computer in the med bay and searched for a good hour and had finished ordering the 21 items that needed restocking because it was all empty because I had 27 patients.

I looked at the time. 14:15. Dinner wouldn't be for another 4 hours or so. I was tired and my back hurt and I had been busy today so I went to go chill in my room. However right as I was about to enter the octochute to my room.

"Octonauts to the hq." That was the captain. So I rushed to the hq ignoring that I was running on an energy supply of 6 hours sleep and one small kelp cake. Soo healthy, ironically for the medic of the team.

Once I was in the hq the captain announced why we were here. "Alright octonauts, today's going to be a busy day because there was a recent and violent shark attack in a nearby reef, so peso your going to help as many creatures as possible. The rest of us will try and restore the reef and shellington, try and find out what made the shark so violent. Octonauts, let's do this!"

Once I realised the situation I was sad by how many creatures must have not made It out alive. Then I realised the amount I had to help. My guess was between 30 and 45.

When we all got I the gups and went towards the reef I asked the captain a question. "Captain, how many creatures do you think are injured?" He replied with a number I wasn't expecting. "My guess is about more than 60 to be honest. But I'm sure you can help them all."

My jaw dropped at the ammount there were going to be. MORE THAN 60!! I already had 27 patients to look after back at the octopod, so if I do the math then I have to look after...

A little less than 100.

I was already stressed enough about work, now I'm going to get the most amount of patients I've had in my life. But it was alright, this is my job and I help any creature who's hurt or sick, no matter the number of injuries or haw many injured there are.

When I saw the reef it was grey, miserable and sad. I setto work making a small makeshift med bay. All the injured creatures lined up, but as I was looking to estimate the number of how many there were I saw about 8 dead fish floating to the top of the water. That made my anxiety rise to its peak.

I saw so much blood and there were so many different types of injuries, broken fin, sprained tails, puncture wounds, black eyes, ripped fins and tails, nose bleeds, massive black bruises. This was a lot of fish that needed help.
