I was in my room reading a book, then all of a sudden the octoalert went off. "Octonauts to the hq." I heard the captain announce, I went to the hq jumping through the octochute and running down the corridor then climbing up the ladder where i saw everyone waiting for the next announcement.

"Alright, now everyone is here we have an important mission. We have to go down to the midnight zone and evaluate important data so that we can see how global warming is effecting the creatures and life in plants down there, aswell as volcanos." The captain said. I was scared, I've never been to the midnight zone, it sounds dark. I don't like the dark.

"Kwazii and shellington in the gup c, dashi in the gup d peso in the gup e and me and tweak will go in the gup a. Kwazii you collect data and shellington can observe it. Dashi, you monitor any underwater volcanos or gizers in the area and take some good pictures. Tweak you set up the equipment to sense for tremors. Peso you help any creatures and might need medical attention. Octonauts lest do this!"

So with that we all got in our assigned gups and went down. I kept my lights on the inside time and a handheld flash light with me. Everyone started to get started with their assigned duties, while I just stood there. Scared. My only sorce of comfort, a flash light.

I had to do my job, with was help creatures in the area, but I didn't see any. Everyone else seemed to be doing there own thing so I wandered a couple meters away in search of anyone who might need help. I kept swimming forgetting how far I was when I looked ahead and pointed my flashlight at an undersea volcano. I was shook with how small it was. It was bubbling but they were all so small.

I thought I would help some creatures evacuate and help anyone who got hurt but nobody was in the area. Well except for a family of sea urchins, so I went to say hello and if they needed any assistance.

"Hello I'm peso, I've noticed your living next to a tiny undersea volcano. So I was wondering if you need any help?" The male urchin looked at me and said. "No problems here, the volcano keepe our home at a nice warm temperature and we wouldn't have it any other way." "Oh that's good to here, just wanted to confirm."I replied with a smile and swam off.

I guess I could help shellington father data, but then I wouldn't be doing my job. I just went back to where everyone was. Well, I tried to find them. I had wandered pretty far and wasn't paying much attention to my surroundings, even though I couldn't see them very well. I then looked at my flashlight that was blinking on and off uncontrollably. The batteries are dying.

I started to freak out and frantically swam in different directions trying to find the others. That's when my flashlight died.
Darkness, why did It have to be the dark.
I started to panic and covered my eyes and curled up into a ball. "Peso, peso where are you?" That was the captain. "Captain? I'm over here!" I them followed the sound of his voice and was so overjoyed to see him. And happy I wasn't lost.

"Peso I've been looking around for you, I need some help." I then got exited I finally had a job to do. "Yes of course, what do you need help with." I replied instantly. "Uhh, peso are you ok? You seem a bit shaken up." He said. "Oh no I'm fine, so what do you need help with?"

"Right, I need some help with attaching this underwater camera. I need someone to hold it in place while I tighten the screws." He said. I wasn't expecting that to be honest, I was more expecting a creature in need of help. I guess this could do for now.

I then went with the captain and saw everyone else hard at work with the tasks they've been given. I held the camera in place and just waited for the captain to finish attaching the screws. After he was done with that he just went on continuing what he was doing before.
