✨Chapter 7✨

Litte A/n~

I'm just going to completely skip episode 7, where Tohru was invited to the estate for the first time and Hatori warns her that she should leave. Y/n was invited or didn't hear about it, so she didn't go.

Now On to The Story~

Y/n POV~

We sat in the living room/dining room and we're talking about New Year's. 

Kyo was sitting at the head of the table on the right side and Shigure on the left side. Yuki sat across from me and I sat next to Tohru.

"So, Tohru will you be going with your family for New Year's?"    "Umm, actually I was wondering if I could stay here for New Year's, my uncle planned a last-minute trip and they didn't have enough tickets for me, so can I stay here?"   "How could they not buy a ticket for you? I'll go beat those bastards up for not thinking about my little Tohru!!"    "N-no you don't have to do that I'm fine with staying here, actually, so...... But please don't go over there and beat them up!!"    I puffed out my cheeks and pouted a little. "Fine. But, if I see them I'm going to give them a big lecture."     "I-i guess that's better? A-anyways, are you fine with me staying here for New Year's?"  "Yes, you can stay here. Y/n will also be staying here too with you, so you guess can have a little girls day."    "Could you please stop smiling like that, it's giving me the creeps."    Shigure puffed out his cheeks and started pouting.   "Man, you're like a kid, please explain to me how you are older than us?!?"     "Meanie~"     "Wait, why does y/n get to stay and I have to go with the stupid rat?!?!"     "Cause it's simple, I'm banned from going to the estate."     "What?!?  Why?!?" I smiled a little  "Well because I ran away and Akito got really mad and said I was banned from entering the estate. He thought I was going to go crawling back to him and begging for me to let him in, but I decided to stay with Shigure to make him even angrier."  I put on an innocent smile and I could Shigure, Yuki, and Kyo sweatdropping at that.  "Wait, what are you guys going to the estate for?"  "Well, every year for New Year's we have a banquet, but these two don't want to go."   "So, it's a special family event?"    "Yes, actually it is, every year zodiac gets together and spends the week with each other. Each year, the year of that zodiac has to perform a dance, but they don't want to go and spend this special family event with their family."  Shigure started fake pouting. (MANIPULATOR!! He really wants them to go.)   "You guys should go and spend time with your family. You should cherish the time you get to spend with your family, cause you'll never know when it'll be your last."    "O-ok, fine. I'll go to the banquet this year."    "F-fine, I'll go with the stupid rat to the banquet."  Shigure's mood did a whole 360 and he was smiling. "Ya!! You guys will go!!!"

Tomorrow in the Afternoon~

"Make sure you guys lock up, k."    "Ok."    "Bye!!"    "Bye."    "Bye, sis and Ms. Honda."   "Bye!!" 

Me and Tohru stood at the door and we finally went back in when we couldn't see Shigure, Yuki, or Kyo anymore. We walked back into the living room and Tohru went upstairs and came down with a photo of her mother. I went upstairs and grabbed a photo of Violet, my best friend, that, umm, Akito, you know, k-killed. I grabbed it so that Tohru didn't feel embarrassed about bringing her Mom's photo out. I walked back downstairs with Violet in my left hand and two small purple candles that smelt like lavender, that was her favorite scent and that's why it's my favorite too. I placed the photo on the table, next to Tohru's photo and grabbed a lighter and lit the two candles and put one next to Violet and the other next to Tohru's mom. I smiled while looking at the photos memories resurfacing back to the surface, tears pricked my eyes, but I wasn't about to show them. It's my first New Year's without her and it's Tohru's first New Year's without her mom. I felt Tohru staring at the photo.  "Her name is, Violet, it's my first New Year's without her, she died last year." I want to hear the sorry, a sorry isn't going to do anything, so I continued before she could speak. "She was like a sister to me, we did everything together. Whenever I was feeling down, she made me feel better, she could see behind my fake smiles. She got me out of my depression state, but Akito saw how happy I was and beat her to death." At this point tears were streaming down my face, Tohru couldn't see because my back was facing her. I was still staring at Violet and smiled.  "She died in my arms, she told me not to cry, but sometimes you can't help, but cry, you know. She was like a ray of sunshine, her smiles and laughs could light up a whole room. There was this one time when we got to paint the side of our elementary school building and we went crazy."  I chuckled a little at the memory. "Man, we were such troublemakers, we're fast runners, so we never got caught and we were these black masks."   I wiped my tears away and stared at the photo in front of me and smiled a sad smile. "My mom died last year, I didn't get to tell her goodbye or I love you or have a good day at work." We were smiling at the photos while tears fell from our cheeks. I guess me and Tohru are more alike than we know. We were still crying, our smiles dropped and we're hugging each other while crying silently. We stopped crying after an hour, we're still hugging each other and we were about to fall asleep when the doors slammed open. It startled me and Tohru awake.

I looked at the door and saw Yuki and Kyo panting for their lives. They looked back at us and I could see the worry and relief in their eyes. I guess they could tell we were crying and they saw the picture behind us. "I want New Year's noodles!!"    "Me too!!!"     "O-ok, I'll go make some." I go up and headed to the kitchen. "But you guys are helping!!!"     "Fine!"   "Ok!"    "Coming, Y/n!!" 

After Cooking Noodles~

We all sat at the table eating our dinner. Kyo and Yuki started telling us to chew slowly and then swallow. They also told us to take small bites. I don't know what's up with them, but whatever. After dinner, we climbed up to the roof to see the first sunset, I grabbed a couple of blankets and placed one down on the roof, so we could sit there. We all huddled together and shared a blanket together and watched the sunset, we all made our wishes and Kyo and Yuki started bickering again. I smiled while watching them bicker and Tohru looking so worried trying to stop it. (I wish it could stay like this forever, just the 4 of us and Shigure living in this house. That would be nice, but for now, I'll cherish these memories with them for the rest of my life.)

Who's ready for the next chapter, you guys get to meet another zodiac curse person, I'll give you a hint, it's a cow. Really excited to write Chapter 8!!! I'm seriously jumping up and down right now, really excited!! I'm super excited that I wrote this chapter and chapter 6 in one day!!
