✨Chapter 8✨

Y/n POV~

Me, Tohru, and Yuki are sitting in the living room drinking some tea and talking. I'm sitting next to Yuki and Tohru is sitting across from us. "Isn't there something going on at school tomorrow?" "Ya, there's a marathon going on tomorrow, we had a student council meeting about it like a week ago. I actually have to leave the house early than usual because we have to have another meeting and we have to help set up, so I was wondering if you could make breakfast tomorrow and if not I can, it just won't be warm when you guys eat and that means I have to wake up earlier, so could you?"    "Ya, no problem!!"     "Aww, you're a little sweetheart Tohru and thank you!!"   "You shouldn-"  Yuki started coughing a lot. After he finished having a coughing fit. I checked his forehead for a temperature and it was above average(it was really hot) "Yuki, you shouldn't go to school tomorrow or the running marathon."   Kyo busted through the doors, (Just great, he's going to challenge him, and then he's going to go, just great, perfect timing there Kyo, just perfect, you can hear the sarcasm in my voice, right?)  "A marathon?!"    "Ya, Y/n said that there's going to be a marathon tomorrow at school."    "I challenge Yuki to a running contest at the marathon and you Y/n too!!"    "Ohh, o- wait me?!?"    "Well, ya so that I could beat you, you beat me last time!!!"     "Ok, only if your up to be beaten again pussy."    "I'm going to beat you!!"   "Y-yuki can't go because he has a cold."    "Wait, you're going to let a little cold keep you from competing?!?!"     "No, no I'll go."    "Ok!! See you tomorrow, when I beat both of your asses!!" He slammed the door shut.   "Y-you shouldn't go, Yuki, it could get worse. You should just stay home and rest."   "No, it's fine. He wouldn't let me live this down either, if I don't go I'll never hear the end of it."    "Just take it easy and tell me if you feel worse, okay, Oni-chan."   Yuki looked at me and smiled and patted my head a little. "Of course, Lil sis."    "You know you're only older by like 3 minutes, you know that, right?"  "3 minutes older than you."    "Ya, ya whatever you say, Yuki."

TimeSkip to the Marathon~

I was stretching a good 5 feet away from Yuki, just to make sure he was alright. Kyo, well, you could see the fire in his eyes and it was like a big flame of fire was sounding him too. The girls were surrounding Yuki and completing his bare legs, I mean the boys were doing it to me too, but they were slicker about glancing at me than the girls because each time they looked at Yuki they squealed like seals. All of the girls lined up at the starting point, besides me because I want to race with Yuki and Kyo, mostly Kyo though. The coach shot the gun, but it was a fake one that just makes the noise. I sweatdropped and so did the coach as we witnessed Hana-chan dramatically fall to the ground, it was like a scene from a romance, "go on without Julia, I'll find a way."   You know like that kinda vibe. 

After a good 15 minutes, they made all of the boys and me lined up. The boys were looking at my legs, Kyo and Yuki kept sending them death glares and I guessed it worked because they stopped. Once we heard the gun go off we ran off. Me, Yuki, and Kyo started sprinting everyone ate our dust, literally, we were all head to head, Yuki was like a centimeter behind us, me and Kyo are head to head. I saw a bridge up ahead and two silhouettes of two people, but I ignored that. "I'M GOING TO BEAT YOU!!"    "NOT IF I GET THERE FIRST!!"   I started to pick up the paste more and Kyo noticed and started picking up the paste too and he started yelling like a maniac. Me and Kyo were running so fast that we didn't notice the tripwire. We tripped over it and face-planted right into the concrete. I sat up and rubbed my face. (Man this hurts like hell!! Whoever did this is getting my fist in their face!!) I stopped rubbing my face and stood up, I looked down at Kyo to see him looking at something else, but I ignored that, I waved my hand in front of his face and offered it, he accepted and I helped him up, I dusted my clothes off and wiped some rocks out of Kyo's hair, I turned around and came face to face with Tohru and.....Haru?!?!? (What the hell is he doing here?!?! First, he gets a little piece of my mind the questions later)  "OI, Haru!! What the hell was that for it hurt like hell!!?!?"    "It was the only way to get Kyo to stop, didn't expect you to be running with Kyo."    "Ya, ya whatever."    "Why are you here? Don't you go to school?"     "Well, I walked around and ended up in a city. I walked around and ended up here, it's a mystery."   We all physically sweatdropped at Haru's explanation. (Does he know that it's called getting lost?)  "Ohh, I also came here to fight Kyo because I was going to fight him at the banquet, but he didn't show, so I thought I would come and find you."    "Ok, then let's go!!"   "Let's bring this somewhere else, people are starting to come."
