"Dancing in the Rain"

KOMAEDA'S POV:

It was only when I was waiting for Hajime outside of the Reserve-Course building did I feel the rain start sprinkling. And I even forgot an umbrella, what bad luck!

"Komaeda-kun? What are you doing out here in the rain?" I turned around from where I was standing to see Hajime with his head slightly tilted and a curious expression on his face, with an umbrella in hand. I took a deep breath,

"We're dating now aren't we? Am I not allowed to wait for my boyfriend?" I told him while placing a hand on my hip (sassy nagito is one of the best nagitos lmao). He smiled at me, "I suppose so, but that doesn't explain why you're standing in the rain without an umbrella?"

I bit my lip, how the hell am I suppose to casually just say I forgot an umbrella, like an idiot. Hajime took a step forward, before speaking again, "You forgot an umbrella, didn't you?"

My face turned red, how can he just read people so easily? "I-"

He took another step forward, taking my hand and pressing a quick kiss to my cheek. "I guess that means we'll just have to walk together, huh?" He giggled. I smiled back at him, humming a bit as I took the umbrella from him. "I'll be holding this, since I'm the taller one" I told him, smirking a bit. He puffed his cheeks out and huffed as I started laughing. "Only by an inch!" he yells.

"Yeah yeah, now come on, let's go" I walk slowly with him, the rain still somewhat hitting us because of how small the umbrella was. We were around halfway towards my house when Hinata pulled me towards a park. "Let's stop here for a while, okay?" He gave me a cute little smile, which made it impossible to disagree.

He gasped before turning towards me, "We should slow dance in the rain, it'll totally be romantic!" he giggled, while stepping out of the shelter of the umbrella and giving me a twirl. "No Hinata-kun, we'll get sick."

Hajime simply just poked his tongue out at me, "Party pooper, c'mon, it'll be fun! Please?" he begged me. I glared at him, making him flinch a bit. "Just once?" I sighed, just one time won't hurt right? "Fine, but only for a couple minutes, after that we have to go straight home." He beamed, before saluting, "Yes, captain!" I laughed, carefully laying the umbrella next to the bench and taking both of Hajime's hands in mine.

"Have you ever slow danced before?" I asked him, placing one of my hands on his hip as he places his on my shoulder. "Only once, wasn't very good though" He replies, with a small chuckle. "Have you?"

I sway him back and forth, giving him a twirl before replying, "A couple of times, my parents use to host huge formal parties before they passed." He smiled, "Damn, so I'm dealing with a pro then?" he spoke, giving me a wink. I laughed, "I suppose you could say that." I dipped him towards the ground, giving him a kiss on the lips before bringing him back up.

"We should get going now, we're both pretty much soaked." He nodded, I pick up the umbrella, opening it again as he takes my hand. "Come home with me Hajime, I'm lonely" I whined as we started walking again.

"Sure, why not, I'll just message my parents when we get there." I smiled at him, preparing for the rest of the walk home. We're totally getting sick tomorrow, not that I mind too much anyways.
