Another oneshot done, enjoy ! Simple Halloween one for the spooky season!

"Trick or Treat"

Today, was Halloween. And today, was the day that Komaeda and Hinata were going trick or treating together.

"Moooooom, I wanna go now!" Hinata whined, stomping his feet. His mother just simply passed him an awkward smile, "We need to wait for your friend still, you wouldn't want to leave without him, would you?" She spoke, in her usual calming manner, not mentioning he's not even in costume yet.

Hinata placed his hand onto his chin, thinking about it for a bit before suddenly flopping backwards onto the couch. "Hmmmm, now I'm boreeed! When is he coming?" He asked, drawing out the 'e.' Mrs. Hinata sighed, "Well, his mother messaged me a couple minutes ago, so they should be here pretty soon."

"Good!" Hinata exclaimed, suddenly sitting up. "We're gonna get sooo much candy!" He yelled, giggling excitedly. A few minutes passed, and there was a knock at the door. "I'll get it!" Hinata jumped up, running towards the door, and opening it quickly.

"Nagito!" Hinata giggled excitedly, pulling Komaeda in for a tight hug. "Ah! Hello Hajime!" Nagito smiled politely, wrapping his arms around Hinata to return the hug. Mrs. Hinata chuckled at the two young boys, before directing her attention to Komaeda's mother. "Come in, Mrs. Komaeda, I'll make some coffee as the boys put on their costumes." Mrs. Komaeda smiled, "Yes, that would be lovely."

"C'mon Nagito! Lets go put on our costumes!" Hinata grabbed his hand, pulling him along to his room.

Komaeda merely giggled at the shorter's enthusiasm, playing along with him. "Okay! I'll go change in the bathroom." Komaeda told him, before leaving to go into the bathroom. A couple minutes passed before the two boys were finally done dressing up. "Woahh, you look so cool!" Hinata exclaimed with excitement, staring at Komaeda's vampire costume with awe. Komaeda chuckled, before twirling around, showing off his long black cape. "You look cool too!" He grabbed Hinata's cheek, squishing it a bit. "You look like a cute little werewolf!" He added on, giggling a bit at Hinata's embarrassment. He slapped his hand away, "Whatever.. we should tell our parents we wanna go now, that way if we leave early, we'll get the most candy!" Hinata grabbed Komaeda's hand, pulling him into the kitchen.

Their parents were having a friendly conversation at the table, laughing, talking, taking occasional sips of scolding hot coffees, etc. "Mom, can we go now?" Hinata pleaded, jumping up and down excitedly. Mrs. Hinata's eyes widened, "You kids look so good! And of course, stay safe and be back by 8pm!" She handed them two candy buckets while chuckling, Komaeda glanced at the clock, which was showing that it was currently 2pm. He grabbed at Hinata's hand, "C'mon, we should get going now if we wanna be early to the houses." He murmured, squeezing his hand a bit. Hinata nodded, giving him a smile before taking him out the door.

"Where do you think we should go first?" Hinata turned towards Komaeda, tilting his head slightly and giving direct eye contact. Komaeda looked away shyly, "Ah, I was thinking maybe we could spend some time before we start? It's still pretty light outside.." He drifted off, before suddenly speaking again, "Of course if you don't want to, that's perfectly acceptable, don't feel pressured to hang out with me!" He smiled awkwardly, Hinata rolled his eyes, "Of course I wanna hang out with you Nagito, you're my best friend!" He jumped on Komaeda, hugging him tightly. Komaeda smiled, "Then, how about we play in the park for a while?" He asked, returning the hug.

Hinata released him, putting a finger to his lips before humming, "Hmmm, okay then! Let's go!" He giggled, before running off towards the direction of the park. "Wait up!" Komaeda laughed, before chasing after him.

It had been about two hours before both boys decided to finally start trick or treating, Komaeda suggested going to houses that older people owned, since they usually give out the most candy. Hinata agreed, following Komaeda like a happy puppy. It went on like this for a while, before both boy's bags were packed full, threatening to burst open any moment.

"Do you think we should go to one more house? It's still only..." Hinata look at his watch, "7:22pm, we still have time" He looked back at Komaeda, smiling awkwardly. Komaeda nodded, "It should be okay, I think we should go to that house over there lastly" He pointed over to a two-story house which was painted blue. Hinata grinned, "Okay! Whatever you say Nagito!"

They walked up to the house and Hinata knocked on the door, a woman came to the door, looking to be in her late 20s. "Trick or Treat!" both boys said in sync, the woman smiled. "Oh my, you two have such lovely costumes, here you go! One for each of you!" She told them, before dropping a chocolate bar into each of their bags. "Thank you miss!" They both smiled, the lady wished them a happy Halloween before shutting the door.

"That should be enough now, right?" Komaeda asked Hinata, while walking away from the house. "Yep! We can use them as super-secret midnight snacks!" He did the 'shushing' gesture and gave Komaeda a wink. Komaeda hummed slightly, "We should be getting home now, it's pretty late and most of the houses are no longer giving out candy."

Hinata grabbed his hand, giving him one last smile, which made Komaeda slightly blush. The entire time they were walking home, they'd make small jokes, giggles and genuinely just have fun. That was, until some older kids ran past them, knocking Komaeda over and snatching his bag. Komaeda fell towards the ground, scraping his knee and his hands. "Hey! Stop!" Hinata cried out, attempting to run after them, but they were already too far into the distance, having flipped the two young boys off beforehand.

Hinata grunted, turning back towards Komaeda, who was still on the ground, tearing up a bit. He kneeled beside him, putting his arm under the others armpit, attempting to support him as he pulled him up. "Are you okay, does it hurt?" Hinata looked at him, with a concerned look plastered on his face. Komaeda gave him a wobbly smile and wiped away his tears, "I'm okay, looks like I can't really join you in you're midnight snacks ahaha.." He looked away slightly, Hinata frowned, grabbing the others face and planting a small kiss on the others cheek.

"We can share, it's okay! Those losers probably couldn't get their own candy, and I'm more than willing to share with you!" Hinata smiled at the other, making Komaeda blush a bit and tear up. "Hajime is so kind to me.. Thank you!" He gave him a closed smile back, putting his body weight onto Hinata.

"We should probably start getting home now, come on, we'll fix your sores at home." Hinata told Komaeda, beginning to slowly walk with him. It was a fun night for them both.

Wooo, that took  a while !! I have school so updates might be a bit slow, but stay with me here !!

I really enjoy kid komahina, by the way, this was before Komaeda's parents died !! So around elementary school !
