KOMAEDA'S POV (THIRD PERSON):

Komaeda Nagito was a well-known fisherman inside of the town. Out of everyone, he would always catch the most impressive fish, and was always able to bring something home at the dinner table for his family. But currently, he was having a small issue.

All week, he wasn't able catch anything. His family was suffering due to it, and their town's fish shop was starting to get impatient. Komaeda started at the crystal blue waters, watching the waves slowly interlap with the sand on the beach. He needed to clear his mind for a bit, the stress was starting to get to him. He stepped into the water, letting it go up to his ankles and soak his pants. He took a deep breath, maybe a small swim wouldn't be bad idea, right?

Komaeda began walking more out to sea, the water level now up to his chest, and his clothes are completely soaked. He looked down, watching the waves crash against his body. And all of a sudden, he heard a light lullaby coming out further from the sea, enchanting him. Maybe he should go check it out? He was a little bit curious on who was the owner of the voice, and what were they doing so far out.

He began to swim further into sea, listening to see where exactly the lullaby was coming from. Komaeda spotted a large, grey rock where the voice seemed to lead. As he swam closer and closer towards it, he saw what seemed to look like a young man, with spikey brown hair. Wasn't there some sort of legend about something like this? He can almost remember..

He looked up at the man above him, and the man smiled. "Hello, can I help you at all?" He was definitely the cause of the song, even his speaking voice was melodic and soothing to his ears. "Ah, I heard someone singing over here and decided to check it out, was that you?" Komaeda asked, tilting his head.

The man hummed, "Yes, you see, I am not a normal human." The strange man giggled as he saw the confused look creep onto Komaeda's face. He began to raise the rest of his body onto the rock, and Komaeda's eyes widened in slight horror as he saw the green scales of a fish start at the man's waist, and the long, serpent like tail.

Komaeda slowly started piecing it together. This man was a siren that had lured him out to sea.

"So, you're going to kill me then?" The man frowned, seeming offended by that statement. "No, not all "sirens" as you humans call us are bad, y'know. I wanted to save you." He told Komaeda in return, making him even more confused then before. "What do you mean 'save me'?"

The man pulled Komaeda up onto the rock beside him, breathing in before speaking again. "I thought you were... y'know... trying to kill yourself. I guess I was wrong?" He smiled nervously at him. "No, I was only trying to clear my mind, I've been pretty stressed lately and being in the water helps me clear my mind." Komaeda sighed, looking out into the distance in the direction of his town.

"Why have you been stressed, if you don't mind me asking?" The siren asked the man beside him, with a curious look. It was pretty cute to Komaeda, in fact everything about him was quite charming. Komaeda chuckled, "If I told you, you might actually wanna murder me."

He raised an eyebrow, "Oh?"

"I'm a fisherman, but I haven't been able to catch anything lately. It's taking a pretty bad toll on my family and our shop ahaha.." Komaeda was quick to explain. The siren made a small 'O' shape with his mouth. He thought for a moment, before seeming to come up with an idea. He jumped onto Komaeda, hugging him tightly, making the other man squeak.

"I believe in you!" He laughed, holding him tighter. Komaeda blushed, his face turning bright red from the siren's actions. Surprisingly, It made him feel better. Probably the power of gay.

Komaeda brushed his hand through the other man's hair, surprised at how soft it was due to the spikey look of it. "Thank you, I needed that."

He looked towards the sky, seeing how it was starting to set. "I should probably begin heading home now, I'll uh... see you again, right?" Komaeda asked nervously. "If you come back, then yeah" The siren smiled, releasing the other.

Begrudgingly, Komaeda made his way back into the water, saying a final goodbye to the other. As he slowly swam back to shore, he heard the other yell something out.

"My name is Hinata Hajime!"
