"Living an Otaku Dream" { A Detective Conan fan fiction}

The summer Festival!

As time passed by a week flashed before my eyes. Yes a week. Even I can't believe how I managed to stay in Osaka for a week with some people who knew me for 7 days . But still, who am I to make sense out of anime. As look at my past life , people would always talk of how would it be to live in their favourite reality.  In my case it was in anime . I didn't care which,  I just wanted to be in one ( except AOT, TOKYO GHOUL AND DEATH NOTE , if the readers understand me) . And here I finally am. In Detective Conan world . It was a weird feeling at first. Everything seemed so unreal but I got used. I still have to retain myself not to jump at the characters and hug them out of the excitement.  Like my fav characters are right in front of my eyes . I'm living an otaku dream. " Hihihi!"
Shina was thinking while hitting her feet at the bed out of excitement and giggling with her self.
As she turns in the other side she thought of smth.
Wait a minute . If I am in an anime and manga does that mean someone is writing my actions ? Does that mean someone is watching or reading me ? ...
Shina looked into space .
" Oh great! Now I will never sleep ! I will be thinking about this only."
" Shina chan ? Are you okay ?"
" Oh Kazuha chan! Sorry ! Did I wakep you up ?"
" It's okay,,, are you good ?"
" Oh yeah. I just couldn't sleep cause I'm so excited for tomorrow. " she said while stretching her head.
" Really! Me too! I can't wait until tomorrow comes." She smiled.
Cute!!! Shina thought.
" Well we have to rest so we can be energetic for tomorrow." Shina said .
" Uhuh! Good night Shina chan!"
" Good Night Kazuha - chan."

Ah! I have to be more quite . Tomorrow is Sunday and its the summer festival . I'm so happy! I've always seen it in romance anime but never actually been into one . But sadly tomorrow is my last day as on Monday I will leave for Tokyo,  I'm going back home. Mom has been talking to me on phone every day, and is eagerly waiting for me to come back. I have to go anyways.  But I enjoyed my time here. Heji and Kazuha became really close friends to me. We had lots of fun this days .
Well time to sleep .
Okay now I can't sleep.

~~~~~~~~The next day~~~~~~~

" Uuuuuuu I can't wait !" Kazuha was jumping up down in excitement.
" Kazuha sweetie,  stay still while I put your yukata, would you?"
" Okay mom."
" Shina chan have you picked your yukata?"
" Not yet . It's so hard. Everything is so beautiful. "
" Don't worry Shina chan. I know the right thing for you. "
" Thank you Kazuhas Mom!"
" No problem dear . Now Kazuha you are ready to go."
" Wow! Kazuha you look so beautiful!"
" Thank you Shina! I love this!"
" Okay Shina your up!"
" Okay." Shina said while walking to the changing room.

" KAZUHA ! SHINA ! OI ! WHY ARE YOU TAKING SO LONG !"
" Jeez Heji don't yell ! Come in."
" But I don't want to see girly stuff." He was murmuring with himself.
" Heji?"
" WHAT-" He stopped and raised his head .
" How do I look?"
He was looking with his mouth wide opened.
" Earth to Heji! You there ?"
" Eh?"
" How do I look?"
"Um,m, Good. Where is Shina?" He changed the subject.
" Oh, she is changing. " Kazuha said while blushing .
" Oh Hejii , you came. Hello!" Said Kazuhas Mom.
" Hello Auntie !"
" Oh Hejii! Hiii!"
" Shina Hi!- Wow you look gorgeous! "
" You think ? Thank you!"
" You look amazing !"
" You look beautiful Shina ." Kazuha said while looking sad .
Shina noticed that and took Hejis and  Kazuhas hand and said ; " Let's go to the Festival now!" She cheered .
The three kids left the house  and were running and laughing down the road.

" OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING!!" Shina yelled.
" We have to try this ! And that! And definitely we will try this!" Shina was saying while jumping.
" Oi oi Shina calm down." Hejii was saying while laughing.
" Shina how about we play that fish game ?" Kazuha suggested.
" Let's go!" She cheered.
" While you play I will go and get something for us to eat." Heji said while walking away.
" Okay, bye !" Shina caught Kazuhas hand and ran to the stand.
" Shina haha, slow down , haha !"
" Hi sir we want to play ." Shina said.
" Of course , welcome to the Goldfish scooping ! You have to scoop goldfish with a paper scooper. "
" Understood ?"
" Hai!"
" Here you go , one for you and for you-"
" No thank you. I won't play."
" But Kazuha chan why?" Shina whined.
" Um, I'm not good in this game ."
" Don't worry ! I will win for you !" She said while patting the girls back .
" Okay 1, 2 , 3 Start!"
Shina started and was watching the fish movements.
Oh there are 5 goldfish and 6 normalfish. Uh? Wait. There is a goldfish with half heart in his back ! Wow ! Theres another!
She thought while starting intensely  at the fish .
" Shina - san , you have to catch the fish ,,," Kazuha said while looking at her .
Shina smirked .
" Ar-" Shina jumped into action was going towards the two fish she saw.
" Wow ! Shina you caught one."
" Let me take it miss so I can put it in water ."
" Give me another scooper " Shina said while handing him the money.
" You will play again?"
Shina winked at Kazuha.
" Here you go your scooper."
" Thank you."
Kazuha was watching Shina who was very focused.
" Shina- chan? Can I say something?"
" Of course." She said while still looking at the fish.
Kazuha breathed in and out and said.
" Actually,  I- I have a crush on this boy for a long time. A-And I-I really like him . But I don't think he um, has the same feelings as me-"
" Isn't Heji?" Shina said while still looking at the fish .
" How did you know?!"
" A guess."
" Ouw,,," Kazuha said while lowering her head .
" Shina , my feeling for him are true . But I don't think its the same thing for him. I bet he considere me as his sister or pal, but , but-" a tear rolled down her cheek.
Shina raised her head and  looked at her .
The she immediately dived the scooper into the fish tank . This scared Kazuha.
" Congratulations you won another one ! Want to play again ?"
" No thank you ."
He handed her the fisha in separated watered bags.
" Thank you bye!"
As they were walking down the street, Kazuha was still sad.
" What makes you think that he doesn't like you?"
She raised her head and looked at Shina who was smiling at her.
" The way he treats me . "
" The way he treats you?"
" He treats me like he treats all friends. And this girl came recently and he speaks more differently to her , he looks her differently.  And I think he likes her , and-"
" Bwahahahahah! " Shina was laughing.
" What ?" Kazuha said while pouting.
" Is it me ?" Shina said while wipping her tears from all that laugh.
" How did you know?"
Shina gave her " Are you serious look " but she removed it .
" Just a hunch ."
Kazuha lowered her head in embarrassment.
Shina stooped and put a hand in Kazuhas shoulder.
" Kazuha I don't like Hejii. He is my friend and as far as I'm concerned he thinks I'm a friend too. Maybe he treats me differently cause we both have same preference in some ways , but Kazuha , you were there with him almost all your life . And even if Heji liked me or I liked him . I wouldn't  have done a thing . Cause you're my friend Kazuha chan.  My close one. I would never do that to you."
Kazuha was crying while Shina hugged her.
" Calm down, I'm here. You have so much time in front of you to make him fall for you . Your still 12 years old sweetie. Plus , if he does anything or if you need anything you can call me anytime. I'm here for you."
" *Sob* Thank you ! * Sob * I'm sorry  * sob * Sorry Shina !"
" There there. It's okay , its all right."
First Kaito , now Heji , what the hell people.  I ain't gonna steal anyone's boyfriend's.

Shina broke the hug and said .
" How about we play so more until Hejii comes back?"
" Okay ."

" There you are Heji ! Why did it took so much for you to get takoyaki?"
" It was such long line man. But here I am."
" Wow! This is a tokoyaki?"
" You've never tried before ?!" The both yelled.
" No , never had the chance. "
" Shina what the hell!?" Hejii said while grabbing both her arms.
" You have lost the world.  Bet you haven't tried okonomiyaki , Sukiyaki, Yakitori,Unagi,Sashimi and many more !"
Shina shooked her head .
Suprised Heji said .
" Kazuha it's our job to make Shina eat all of the foods thats in the festival !" He said while giving Kazuha a thumbs up which Kazuha did the same thing and said . " Considered it done ."
" Poor me ,,," she murmed.
" Oh yeah! Heji this is for you and Kazuha this is for you ." She said while handing them a bag of fish .
" Shina but you won them."
" Yeah, why are you give it too us ?"
" Cause it's my last day here and I will miss you both, I know we will meet again but I wanted to give this to you to remember me ." The both looked at her touched and hugged her.
" We will miss you too !" They said with teary eyes.
" And,,," she went and whispered something to Kazuha. While hearing what Shina was saying, Kazuha looked at her fish and then looked at the one Heji was holding and blushed immediately.
" Thank you." She whispered to Shina.
" No problem."  she smiled
Heji was thinking of something  and then whispered at Kazuha . She nodded and caught Shina's left hand while Heji the right one .
" Where are we going ?" She asked.
" It's a suprise ." They both said.
" What about the festival?"
" We will come back later ."
" What about the food ?"
" We will eat later."
" But I wanna play moreee,,,"
