Venti's POV:

it's Saturday, and I'm supposed to meet xiao today! It's always exciting to do anything with him, I got in the shower and put on something nice again. He wanted to meet me..somewhere I don't know yet it's supposed to be a surprise so im excited. Once again he picked me up and we talked in the car, we always went places together so this was a normal thing, nothing new or out of the normal. We made it to a place that kinda looked like a park? I was confused, I didn't see anything..it was just a park? "Don't worry, this isn't a surprise let me take you there" xiao said while grabbing my hand and pulling me all the way to the other side of the park. When we got to the area, it was really nice it was decorated and was- my stomach dropped when I realized what it was.., it was a picnic I don't know about this anymore..but uh there's fruit and that doesn't have that many calories, plus it's considered healthy sooo.."Ohhh I love it..?" I say hesitantly, I watch as xiao's facial expression turns from happy to worried, "Oh..do you not like it?" "Ah- I mean no it's really pretty just.." No, I can't tell him..not yet at least "Um never mind, let's start I guess". We sat down and I didn't really eat anything just a little though to make myself seem normal to him, I spent most of the time talking, im pretty sure he noticed what I was doing but..no it's fine. I-I.should tell him the truth this is the perfect time.

"Uh...I have something to tell you.." I said nervously, "what is it?" xiao said confusingly "w-well i..um i-I've had a c-crush o-on you for a-awhile now.." I say while covering my face with my hands, I was expecting to get rejected right on the spot, and go home and cry so...I was really nervous. I took my hands off my face and looked up at xiao, his face was red, I was confused, but I was guessing this was a rejection so I decided to just accept it, "Ok I know you don't feel the s-same way so i-im gonna go" I said while quickly getting up and preparing to leave before I felt someone grab my arm, it was xiao.."Wait!.. I like you too" I quickly turned around after hearing those words, tears were running down my face, they were sad tears but now they're happy tears. "A-are you sure.." I said quietly..I just wanted to make sure, cause the moment felt so unreal.."Yes im sure venti!, your so pretty and amazing, and..I love you..."..I love you..? I haven't heard those words in so long, at least it feels like its been long.., I hugged him, and he hugged me back "I love you too.." I looked up at him, he was still holding me tightly..he put his hand on my cheek and..kissed me, his lips were soft and tasted like strawberry..I closed my eyes and embraced the moment..I don't wanna go home anymore <3
