"KILLMEKILLMEKILLME"
"DO IT FOR FUCKS SAKE"
My ears felt as though they were bleeding, my form was trembling as I stood against the cement wall. My fingers weakly gripped onto a knife that I didn't know how I acquired. I held it in a way of security and a reason I didn't know. Why was it in my hand?
My palms were sweaty, the weapon slipped away from my grip awfully slow. The small hair on my head began to stick onto my wet forehead. It was so hot. The warm air pushed me down and stuck to me.
There was a man, he was crying as I stared at him. He reached forth in an attempt to touch me although he was restrained by his hands to a wall as he sat on his shins. He threw his arms further away from himself, his fingers clutched onto the air trying to pull me towards him.
He was smiling. It was as wide as the smile I made in elementary school, his teeth peeked through while his tongue hid under the roof of his mouth.
His tears fell onto his cheeks as his smile stretched his face. His forehead was creased as sweat collected between his wrinkles. He was the officer he spoke about. I gazed at the scene in front of me with dreadful wonder. How could someone turn into this, this living thing that was driven to such a corner that it would rather leave this life than live another breath knowing he was alive.
I looked at the man called 'JJ.K' who was smiling utterly satisfied, he sat on a wooden stool with this legs crossed over each other while he twirled his favourite knife in his right hand and his chin rested on his left as his elbow dug into his thigh. He was so happy- just as happy as a father gets seeing his children play among themselves.
I gripped my head as I clenched onto it harder. My eyes shut as they tried to find peace amidst all the yelling. My body pressed against the wall while it dragged down to my ankles. Tears pushed past my shut lids and it hurt so much. My eyes burned.
"wh-hy me, why m-e? What did i-i do to deserve this?", my breath hitched, my voice broke and my hands shook. I just wanted to know.
"WHAT DID I DO?"
"WHY ME?", my voice scratched against my throat, clawing at it in need of water.
Someone was laughing, loudly. It was the one who was begging to be killed.
He laughed louder and louder as tears continued to drip down his eyes. Those tears weren't of sadness but of horror. He knew so well what I was going through that it was amusing to him, he could see how himself. For him, I was a mirror. It was so pitiful that it amused him.
I open myeyes to see I was in a room as big as mine. It was too dark. There was water dripping at the corner of the room, a runny tap. The sound of someone breathing heavily echoed between the walls.
