Part 11 (I expect you to win)

Uraraka's POV

It was now Monday and me and Bakugo were sitting in a room at the sports festival arena waiting to go out and fight in the first round of the 2v2 tournament. Bakugo was talking to me going over all the moves we had come up with during our week together, but I wasn't listening. I was still replaying the events of last night over and over in my head on repeat. Then there was the realization of me having a crush on him. I was so overwhelmed I could hardly look at him this morning when we were leaving his house.

We have hardly said anything to each other today mostly because I haven't made any attempt to talk to him.

I just didn't know what to say now!! Who knew it would be even harder to talk to him now that I realized I liked him!?! AHHHH this was so frustrating!

"ARE YOU LISTING TO ME ROUND FACE!!!"

"AHHH w-what was that? Sorry I kinda spaced out" I say to my very frustrated looking partner.

Bakugo slowly hinges and unhinges his jaw "I said, do you remember all the moves we went over this week" he says in a low strained tone like he was struggling to not yell at me.

"Y-yeah, I gave them all names remember"

"I still can't believe I agreed to let you come up with the names" he say's while bringing his hand to his face and shaking his head.

I was about to respond but just then the alarm sounded signaling us to make our way outside to the arena, with a huge square platform in the middle. We make our way outside and look across the platform where we find that our first obstacle in this tournament is Kaminari and Ida!

"Hey guys it's so SHOCKING that we are facing you first!!" Kaminari says

cricket....cricket.....cricket....

"You get it... shocking... my quirk is-ahh forget it" he says slouching over and hanging his head down low.

"Im going to kill him, for always saying these awful jokes" my partner says while pinching his nose in frustration and shacking his head.

"IT IS AN HONOR TO BE FACING YOU TWO, PLEASE DEMONSTRATE WHAT YOU HAVE LEARND THROUGH THIS ASSIGNMENT, FOR WE WILL DO THE SAME!!!!!!" Ida says while chopping the air.

"WHY ARE YOU YELLING AND CHOPPING THE AIR, PORTHOLES?!?!?!?"

I couldn't help but laugh at this crazy start to the tournament. I could definitely see how these two were opposites since Ida was always serious while Kaminari always just goes with the flow.

Just then Asawa sensia made his way in between us to explain the rules

"The rules to this tournament are simple incapacitate your opponents or knock them off the platform to win. The winners will move forward while the losers are eliminated, give your all and show me what you've learned from one another. When the alarm sounds you will begin. Any questions?  Good I didn't think so, now take your positions."

He didn't even give enough time for anyone to ask a question.....

Bakugo leans in close to me "For this fight let's use the plan "reverse". You remember what that is right sweet chicks" my partner whispers in my ear sending shivers down my spine.

"Ye-yeah I do, don't worry"

"This will be a nice warm up!" My cocky partner proclaims while he cracks his knuckles, as we get into position.

Just then the alarm went off and we were charging forward. Like always Bakugo is leading the way for his team, trying to be the first to attack. This was all apart of the plan though.
