I walk outside of my house and embrace my family and Joe's in a hug.
"We'll miss you two!" Aunt Robin yells.
"We'll miss you too, mom!" Joe yells back. We all wave as Joe pulls out of his driveway. My dad and Joe's dad are following us in my car. My stuff is in my car and Joe's is in his. We are both going to Ohio State University so we don't have a far drive.
"GIVE ME THAT AUX CORD!" I yell and grab the cord. "We aren't even on the main road!"
"Well fuck that!" You started blasting 'Hey Ya' by Outcast.
"1, 2, 3, GO!" Joe said.
"My baby don't mess around." I sang. "Because she loves me sooooo." Joe sang back.
"Heyyyy yaaa!" I sang at the end of the song.
"Oh. Oh." Joe sang back.
"Next song!" I said as I clicked on the next song I wanted. I chose 'o shit' by lentra.
I hummed along to the song. The song sang, "Back to love. Never understood what it really was. Cause I've always been pretty dumb. Somethin I'm always runnin from' "That one hit a little too close to home." Joe said. I just nodded in agreement.
We played other songs like 'I WANNA SEE SOME ASS' by jetsonmade and Jack Harlow.
"I WANNA SEE SOME ASS! I WANNA SEE SOME ASS!" Joe and I yelled. We definitely got weird looks.
We played 'I Love You So' by the Walters.
"Y/N. Are you ok?" Joe asked.
"Yeah yeah I'm fine. This songs just so sad." I said, a tear dropping down my cheek.
'Pretty Girl' by Clario.
"I could be your pretty girl. Shut up when you want me to." I sang.
"I'll make you shut up if you really want me to." Joe smirked.
"JOSEPH LEE BURROW I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU SAY THAT IN FRONT OF MY FATHER I WILL FUCKING KI-" he cut me off with a kiss.
"See. I shut my my pretty girl." he winked.
And we ended our drive with 'LOT OF ME' by Lil Tecca.
"You getting a lot of me!" I sang.
"I ain't getting enough." Joe muttered.
"Whatcha say Joe?"
"Huh? Oh, uh, nothing."
"We're here!" Joe exclaimed. Lo and behold, Ohio State, the place we would spend the next four years.
"We have no idea what we just signed up for." I said.
"Not a clue."
