I was so excited! Today was the first time I was seeing my best friend, Joe Burrow, play in an NFL game!

The last time we had seen each other was my graduation. I went to his at LSU and he went to mine at Ohio State. We talked only briefly because both our families were talking to us. That was May... now it's November.

Now, as you're all wanting to know, our relationship is very... complicated to say the least. We're not dating but not not talking you know? We talk a lot but we don't like flirt text.

Anyways, the Bengals were playing the Washington Football Team (the best name if you ask me).

I got down to the stadium as early as I could enter. I entered through the VIP tent because I had an on-the-field pass to see Joe. I was also there to say "hi" to Joe's other teammates I had become mutual friends with.

I walked through the VIP area and damn I felt boujee. There were like famous people in this tunnel. I felt so out of place. I think they could sense it.

Anyways, I was so excited but had to piss so badly. I walked as fast as I could to the bathroom. I ran to the bathroom right when I got the pass.

This is nicer than my apartment, I thought when I walked into the restroom.

After my piss session, I got some food because they were having MEXICAN CATERED. I was salivating at the thought of a burrito with queso.

I brought my food out to the field where Joe and the team were practicing. I was just enjoying my burrito when a familiar voice interrupted my feast.

"Yo, y/l/n! That burrito good or what?" I turned to see one of Joe's teammates, Tee Higgins, walking up to me. We had become mutual friends through Joe.

"Tee!" I exclaimed, mouthful. He walked over and gave me a hug.

"How are you?" he asked. I chewed with my index finger showing a '1' over my mouth, English teacher style.

"I'm good! This burrito is great, by the way. But the real question is... how are you?!" I smiled widely.

"I'm great, actually. A bit nervous for the game but overall, I'm good. But if you're burrito is so good.. could I maybe get a bite?" he smiled. I always thought his smile was adorable.

"Uh, yeah, sure. Only if you're allowed to."

"Oh yeah, I'm totally allowed." Tee assured me. I held out the burrito for him to take a bite.

"Only a small bite."

"Small bite?"

"Yes, a small bite!"

"Ok, ok-" he continues to take a not so small bite of my burrito.

"Tee!" I yelled as I yanked the burrito from his reach.

"What?! It was small!" he laughed, mouthful of burrito.

"No, it was not!"

"Yes, it was!" I looked at Tee's face and saw a bit of queso on his nose.

"Tee... you got something on your-." I pointed to his face as Tee navigated his face for a dot of queso.

"No. No! Let me just-" I used my thumb to wipe the queso off his nose. He blushed at the action... I did too.

"Thanks, y/n." he warmly smiled. I heard someone's throat clearing and turned to my left to see Joe Burrow standing there, hands on his hips.

"I gotta go. See you later, y/l/n!" Tee jogged off as he pat Joe on the back.
