Me and Joe broke up the end of sophomore year, it's the beginning of senior year. During the summer between junior and sophomore year, I talked to Joe, but not as much as we used to. It was just.. awkward. When our families would meet up, I would talk to his siblings and he would talk to mine. On his Instagram, he would post with lots of girls. OH! Did I mention he's the starting quarterback for LSU? I'm proud of him, of course, I just have ONE little problem with it. He got REALLY popular. Like REALLY REALLY popular. Every girls wanting to date him and these girls are GORGEOUS like, I don't know how to describe them they are so pretty.

Anyways, how's my life? Tyler and I are still roommates, still besties with all my besties, have good grades, and overall have a pretty good life. There's one pretty big flaw though, I can't get over Joe. Ellie, Georgia, and even Tyler have tried to set me up with other guys. We just, don't click. Now, it's my senior year and I wanna live it to the fullest. No guys, no problems, nothing bad! Being my own independent self.

"WHAT! I can't go to Louisiana, mom! There are many reasons why I can't but why? Just why?" I was furious. Aunt Robin was visiting Joe in Louisiana, and offered to take me.

"Mom! I don't want to! I have school, work, and for other obvious reasons!"

"Honey, it would be fun! Visiting a new state, you've said you wanted to see a new state sometime soon. Now's your chance!"

"Yeah! But not that state now!"

"Well, I already told Aunt Robin that you said yes so get packing, she's going to be there tomorrow morning."

"WHAT! MOM! Tell her I changed my mi-" she hung up on me. I punched my bed. Tyler emerged from the bathroom.

"You good?" she asked.

"Oh uh yeah." There was a pause. "Well, actually no, not at all. Aunt Robin is taking me to Louisiana!"

"That doesn't sound too bad. It sounds fun! Seeing a new state, eating their foo-"
I cut her off.

"I'm not finished. Do you know WHO lives in Louisiana and that someone is the main reason Aunt Robin is visiting?"

"Uhhhhhhhhhh is it..... I don't know actually." I sighed.

"Joe, Joe lives in Louisiana." Tyler gasped.

"Your gonna see Joeeeeeee!" She mocked. I rolled my eyes.

"There's no chance of me with him," I sat on the bed, "he has all the girls falling for him. I mean, who wouldn't! He's the starting quarterback, is pretty attractive, and has ALL the charm." I smiled, reminiscing about all the little things Joe did to make me smile. "Plus! I don't even want him!" A knock at the door made me and Tyler jump.

"I got it!" Tyler announced. Tyler opened the door and Aunt Robin was standing there.

"Hey sweetie! I decided to come a day early if that's ok?"

"Heyyyy Aunt Robin. Uh, that's my roommate, Tyler. And it's fine that you came early, I'm just not packed. I don't have any classes the rest of the day and I'll do my classes online when we are down there."

"Ok sweetie. Take your time. The flight doesn't leave till tomorrow so I have a hotel booked," There was a pause, "Bye sweetie, see you later! And it was nice meeting you miss Tyler."

"It was nice meeting you too, Mrs Burrow." Tyler formally replied with a smile.

I packed up all my clothes, school stuff, and other things I need like toiletries. I had a carry on with laptop, charger, 2 school books, and my phone charger.
