Chapter 7

"We're home!!" Alex called out into the house.

"Ok," we hear a voice call back to us. Sounded like Seishi's.

"When are we leaving for the club?" Alex asks their brother.

"At a late hour."

"How late are we talking?"

Seishi pops out from behind a corner. "10:30. Oh, also I told Mom about our little group outing, so you won't have to ask her. That makes two favors that you owe me." He holds up two fingers.

"Wait how did you convince Mom to let us go with you?"

"Magic."

I set my things down while all of this is going on.

"C'mon tell me." Alex whined while setting their bag on the ground.

"What, did you think I actually told her the truth? That we were going to a club?"

Alex pouted and looked away.

Seishi sighed. "I said that we were going to an old friends house to watch movies and play games."

WOW. That's all he had to say? Usually, I will get bombarded with tons of questions if I even mention an event or something I would like to go to. My house really is like a prison.

"I think I finally broke her. Hey Eden!" Alex shouts.

I jump a little from the sudden loudness, breaking the daze I was in yet again.

"Hm?" I say confused.

"We should go upstairs and start picking out outfits now," they said.

"Right now? Don't you think it's a little early?"

Alex looks at me bewildered. "You've never been to a club and it shows."

"And you have?" I retort teasingly. Alex looks at with wide eyes and a smile. "Wait..."

"Alex, I swear to god," Seishi says under his breath in a serious tone.

"Whaaat? Don't look at me like that. I just wanted to see what all the hype was about. Not gonna lie it was hella fun."

"I can't believe you," Seishi and I both say this at the same time.

Alex then pulls me by the arm. "Well, whatever, we still have to plan out our outfits, hair, makeup, and all of that."

I mouth the words help me to Seishi.

"No one can save you now, sorry Eden," Seishi says back with a grin.

Oh no. This is gonna be a long evening.

(⌐■_■) Time skip (⌐■_■)

"...Mom...in bed...early.... office," I hear the muffled voices of Seishi and Alex downstairs. I look at myself once more in the full-length mirror. I'm in a red skintight dress that stops halfway at my thighs. It is sexy, but still classy.

Alex pokes their head into the room, "Ready?" They're wearing a cute black jumpsuit with sequins all over it.

"Yeah."

I make my way down the stairs carefully in the red heels I'm in. I am not used to this. As I arrive at the bottom of the stairs, Alex turns to me, "I'll be outside."

"What, why? Wait don't leave me."

Alex gives a short wave with a mischievous smile and shuts the door. Just as this happens Seishi comes in from the kitchen.

"Wow."

I turn around looking at him.

"You look...uh...really good."

My face turns as red as a tomato. Did he just say that to me?

I look at what Seishi is wearing, and somehow my face becomes more flushed. He is in black pants paired with black Vans. What gets me the most is the shirt. He is wearing a black button up shirt, with the top three buttons undone. Seishi rolled his sleeves up just below his elbow, exposing his forearms and part of his sleeve of tattoos. I'm practically drooling over him.

"Thank you," I force myself to say. "You don't look too bad yourself." I don't know if it was the outfit or Seishi making me feel some type of way, but I was bolder tonight.

Seishi laughs at the last part. "Thanks."

We stand in an awkward silence for a few seconds until Seishi perks up. "Ah, we should probably get going." He walks towards the door and opens it, "After you," he gestures outside while holding the door.

"Wow. What a gentleman," I smirk. He gives me a crooked smile in response. God why is he so hot.

I step outside into the cool night air. I have a feeling that tonight is going to be good.
