"MS. CHOI!" At the sudden sound of my boss' voice, my eyes opened wide and my body involuntarily jolted with nervousness. I was startled to discover that his office door was most likely left open, which explained how I was able to hear his voice even while I was inside my private office.

Immediately standing up from my seat, I ran out of my office and stepped right inside before bowing °90 and stood in front of his table, "S-Sir..."

Suddenly, he threw some pile of papers and folders on the floor, some getting thrown at me, "What kind of employment is this? I am putting in a strong effort and showing up on a regular consistent basis, but the customers keep complaining about your useless and terrible service!" He yelled, causing me to lower my head down.

Yep, I'm a really terribe service provider. It may be because of my natural introverted tendencies and the fact that I'm not used to serving others.

I always tell myself to try hard, but guess it keeps ending this way.

On the other hand, Mr. Lee is still spatting stuffs about my uncooperative self towards his customers, "I am disappointed in you Ms. Choi, I thought you were really a hard-working woman and not just being early bird at work but gives enough service too." He said in a calmtome.

I kept looking down, hoping he'd just let this slide and give me a second chance to do my own work better.

But everything was too late.

"You know what Ms. Choi..." Mr. Lee abruptly paused his statement, causing my heart to unexpectedly skip a beat.

He lets out a heavy sigh, me slowly looking up and at the same time, he proceeded his words, "You're fired." He continued, my heart shattering into pieces as my vision of my family flashed my eyes.

I quickly shook my head as a wave of panic hits me. I clasped my hands together in front of him, "No, no please! Please Mr. Lee! I'll try my best this time! I need this job! I need it for my family! Please Mr. Lee, I beg you!" I desperately begged.

"My Mother has cancer! My brothers still need to finish school! Please! I need this job, I don't have money to earn without it!" I sobbed.

"I am really sorry Ms. Choi, I can't accept you in my company anymore. Please go and pack your stuffs, it was great having you in my business but you just lack improvement. Please understand." He sighed, my eyes slowly landing on the floor.

I lost my chance...

My lips slowly trembled, afraid what might happen to my family when I am left with no job anymore.

I let my tears dry on my cheeks as I slowly looked up at Mr. Lee, unclasping my hands together before slowly bowing to the elderly, "T-Thank you for everything Mr. Lee, and I am sorry... I am sorry for my terrible service, I'll see you around." I said without looking at him, feeling numb.

"I forgive you, I appreciate you working hard for your family. But do be careful more and improve for your future, goodbye Ms. Choi." I slightly nodded my head as my tears dried on my puffy cheeks.

Arriving back at my office, I slammed the door shut and gripped my hair, a bit of tears escaping my eyes further after knowing I don't have a job anymore.

What do I do...

I walked towards my desk, sitting on my seat as I started to fiddle a pen, not thinking about anything since my mind is just blank.

I need to find another job.

My legs started to wobble after walking around for ages, I couldn't even find anything I can get hired for.
