Hwayoung stood still, shocked and stunned. A low chuckle escaped Jimin's mouth as he watched her. She was completely paralyzed and couldn't move, no matter what she did. Her eyes were glued to Jimin.

Jimin removed his arm from her waist, stepped in front of her, and placed his hands in his pockets, as he looked at her. "I'm sorry for ignoring you."

Hwayoung finally shifted her gaze towards Jimin, locking her eyes with his for the first time. The moment their eyes met, Jimin's lips slightly parted, and he bit his lips tightly as he seemed to realize that Hwayoung wanted an explanation.

"Look, this may not seem like a big deal for you, but it's a big deal for me. I felt like I had to do it. I wanted to."

Hwayoung furrowed her eyebrows, gathering her courage to speak. She looked up at Jimin with a confused expression. "Why did you do it?" She whispered, "I thought you disliked me. I kept wondering whether I had done something wrong or not."

As Jimin sighed, he said, "I don't want or even intend to hate you, I swear. The truth is, I just needed to do it, for my own reasons."

Hwayoung looked down, mumbling to herself as she seemed to have an inward realization. "You owe me an explanation, but I'll let you off the hook. I'm just not capable of feeling angry at you, anyway."

She seemed to think that Jimin found her adorable, which made her quite happy.

She looked up at him, "Do tell me why, though."

"Um... Private and personal reasons." He awkwardly answered, avoiding her gaze.

"I'm glad we can finally talk normally." Jimin's smile became more genuine as he seemed to realize that there were no more barriers between them.

Both had resolved their issues, and now could enjoy each other's company in peace. It seemed like their friendship would only grow stronger from here on out.

Hwayoung felt her heart melt when Jimin directed his eye-smile exclusively at her again, and she quickly looked away to avoid smiling.

Sensing her shyness, Jimin continued to smile at her, and she could feel herself becoming more and more in love with him.

"Well, I guess the traditional reunion thing would be like to hangout. You know, we haven't seen each other in a while, so it'd be nice to have an outing with you." Hwayoung said, with a playful smile on her face.

Her words confused Jimin, "Huh, what do you mean?"

Hwayoung bit her lips and kept refraining her smile to go on the way.

"Come on, you're smiling. Tell me." Jimin lowly chuckled.

Hwayoung grinned, "Since we're good again... What do we do to make up after the distance?"

Jimin formed an o-shaped mouth, "Ah, I see what you mean." He paused, thinking. "Hm, great idea, actually."

Her eyes sparkled as a wide smile illuminated her face once more, her voice becoming increasingly playful and cheery, "So then, where are we going?!" She squealed, doing a little jump.

Jimin let out a gentle laugh, being certain that their usual circumstances had returned, "Perhaps, after a while of working? Somewhere about 2pm, we can head out." He smiled, displaying his warmth.
