Hwayoung nervously entered the empty office, her palms sweating and her mind racing as she paced back and forth.

Immediately stopping in her tracks, she mentally scolded herself, "No, no, Hwayoung. It's going to be okay. He'll accept you, you know that." She whispered to herself, falling silent for a moment.

But her doubts quickly resurfaced, and she stomped her feet in frustration.

"No, no, no, I don't want to ruin our friendship... What if he rejects me?" Hwayoung rambled, pulling at her hair in frustration.

"Fuck, I'm so anxious." She cursed under her breath, fanning herself with her hands in an attempt to calm down.

"Relax, Hwayoung... relax. Nothing bad will happen. Don't think negatively." She took a deep breath, fanning herself with both hands.

Just then, the sound of approaching footsteps reached her ears, causing her to freeze in place as the office door slowly opened.

Her breath caught in her throat as Jimin entered the room, his usual fresh and charming appearance making her heart race.

He looked up and met her gaze, his smile widening. "Morning." He greeted.

Hwayoung stood rooted to the spot, her palms growing sweatier and hotter by the second.

Jimin closed the door and stood still, taking note of Hwayoung's unusual demeanor. "Um, are you alright?" He asked, breaking the silence and snapping Hwayoung out of her thoughts.

She forced an awkward smile and averted her gaze, nodding her head. "Yeah, sorry. I've been caught up in some stuff." She chuckled awkwardly, making a flimsy excuse that left Jimin puzzled.

Jimin shrugged, brushing off her odd behavior and making his way to his desk. He noticed Hwayoung's breath hitch as he approached, raising an eyebrow in mild suspicion.

Looking back at her, he asked, "Are you sure you're okay? Is something bothering you?" Hwayoung swiftly shook her head, forcing an awkward smile.

"I'm fine, don't worry." She managed to breathe out, her voice slightly shaky.

Jimin playfully narrowed his eyes at her, pretending to sense something amiss, causing Hwayoung to look away and gulp nervously.

When he burst into laughter, she flinched momentarily, watching as he held onto the table and laughed heartily.

"You're acting a bit strange today." He teased through giggles. "You're giving off a suspicious vibe."

However, Jimin's smirk faltered when Hwayoung only returned an awkward smile. His mind went blank for a moment, and he forced a small smile in return.

He cleared his throat, "Are you really alright? You're not acting like yourself. Normally, you'd pounce on me with hugs the moment I enter the office." He stated, tilting his head quizzically.
