In the middle of our breakfast, naay ni ring nga cellphone and Anthony immediately check his.

Someone is calling him. He glance at me before answering the call.

“Sup bro- Oh.. hello, Veronica? Hey! Why? W-what?” he startle.

So, Antonio's finance is calling him. Nahunong na kog kaon kay di na sya mahimutang.

“My mom is not here. Yes! I'll come. Where are you now? Okay, wait for me there.” he ended the call.

He's sweating bullets for God sake.

“What happen? Is she fine?”

“No..” he look frustrated and worried.

My heart thumped. “Something bad happen?”

“Nikko is in coma, his not responding since last night daw. And Veronica's worried because Antonio is hurting his self. Reason she called me.” tubag niya.

I can't utter a word. I'm not close to anyone of them, but I know Anthony really cares.

“Just tell the maids if you're done eating. I'll go to the hospital now.” he's in rush.

“Can't I come?” I asked.

Nihunong syag lakaw. Na realize guro niya, nga naa pako diris ilang balay. Sa iyang ka worry, wa na sya kahinumdom nako.

Childish man, pero naka bati kog selos.

“Umm. Sorry, I might just waste your time. Mo uli nasad ko ron. Don't worry about me.” dugtong nalang nako kay di ko gusto nga mag samok samok niya.

He look at me, head to toe. “I'll be back as soon as possible. Stay here” he said then kissed my forehead.

But that didn't lessen the jealousy I'm feeling.

Shit! Why I'm feeling this way?

He needs to help his brother. I'm being unreasonable if I got jealous over that.

But before he got out of my sight he answer another call. “Yes, Veronica. I'm on my way”

And minutes had passed, wala nakoy Anthony nga nakita sa palibot.

He left. Leaving me alone here in dining area.

“Veronica..” I utter.

I wonder, maybe.. maybe Anthony likes her before. He likes her before I came?

Overthinking make me sad. I'm just jealous right?

But she might Anthony's woman before me? Anthony's lady? Anthony's love?
