Jennie's POV

"Let's stop this plan." I said to the three of them.

They looked at me sadly. "You really want this Jennie?" Hoyeon asked.

"Yes." No. Fuck no. I don't want to let her go but this is the only way to lessen the pain that I've felt right now.

"Didn't you hear the news?"

"What news?" I've over heard some students talking about a certain news. And then they looked at me. What the fuck is it now? So I've asked them.

"What news?" I said. They looked scared.

"S-sunbae.. Uhm.. We just heard that Lisa and Jungkook are in a relation—" I didn't let them finish what they're saying and walked away. More like runaway. I needed to know if this is fucking true.

Ang there I saw Lisa smiling. While Jungkook is hugging her and kissing her forehead.

Fuck. This day just got worse. Fuck this. Of all the days, why did she choose to say yes now? Why does it have to be this day? Fuck. I guess they'll all gonna leave me. My dad. And now Lisa. I've lost her, forever.

"Hey chu? I'm gonna go home. I'm not feeling well right now. I just came here to tell you guys that let's stop this plan." I said. I'm worried about mom.

"Okay. Take care Jendeuk. Call me if you need anything, okay?"

"Okay."

Lisa's POV

"I can't believe you're my girlfriend now Lis. I can't wait to show the whole school that you're mine."

I just smiled. And squeezed his hand.

Be ready for the consequences of your decisions Lisa.

I remember what Chaeyoung said. No Lis. This is the right decision. You've done what's right. Jungkook is a good guy besides he's your crush since your freshman year.

"Lis? Babe?"

"Lili baby?" Why am I hearing Jennie? I brushed the thoughts off.

"Ye-yes?"

He smiled. "You're zoning out. Are you hungry?"

"A little."

He pinched my cheeks. He smiled. "Let's eat outside the school, is it alright with you babe?"

"Okay."

"Lili have lunch with me!"

"I don't want to Kim. Go away"

She pouted. Then pinched my cheeks. "Pwetty pwease?" Why is she so cu— nope.

"Stop acting cute." Her eyes lit up. "I'm cute?"

I widened my eyes. "That's not what I've said."

She smirked. "Ohhhh but that's what I've heard. Come on Lili. I know you find me cute." She wiggled her brows then went near me.

"Tho I want you to find me hot not cute baby girl." She whispered in my ear.

Goosebumps. I blushed and she laughed. What a flirt.

Why am I getting flashbacks. For fuck sake Lisa focus on your boyfriend. Why are you thinking of that she devil?

Jisoo's POV

Holy shit. Holy fucking shit. I forgot about today. I was so distracted by the news about Jungkook and Lisa's relationship that I've forgot about today. So that's why Jennie went home. I've got to go before anything gets worse.

I looked at my girlfriend who's zoning out writing her essay. "Chaeng?"

"Yeah babe? This is so hard. How did you overcome this subject?" She said pouting. Pfft cute.

Focus Jisoo!

"Didn't you remember the date today?"

"Huh?" Then she looked at her phone and looked at me with wide eyes. "Jennie unnie! Oh my gosh, why did we forgot? We should follow her home Chu." She said anxiously. I sighed.

"I know. Let's go, I'll help you with your essay later."

This is the day that I don't want to come. But it always did, yearly.

"Do you think Lisa forgot too?"

"Of course Jisoo. That idiot is with her fucking boyfriend now. Do you think she remembers this day?! If I see Lisa I swear I'm gonna kick her ass." Chaeyoung said. What a sight to see. She's like a fuming chipmunk.

"You sure about that Chipmunk? You can't hurt her tho. She's your best friend."

"And she's an idiot." I chuckled and shake my head.

"That, she is. Let's go to the parking lot. I'll drive."

Jennie's POV

I've been contacting Mom since I left school but her phone's turn off. I wish she didn't do anything stupid this time.

I opened our front door and saw our maid.

"Young lady, Madam Kim didn't eat her breakfast and went to the study room holding a bottle of whiskey. I'm worried about her. I'm glad you came." She sighed.

I clenched my jaw. "Thank you Ahjumma for informing me. May I have the key to the study room?" She gave me the key. I immediately went there and opened it.

I saw my mom drinking and crying while looking at our family picture that was taken many years ago.

"Mommy?" She looked at me and smiled sadly.

"Jennie" And then she started crying again. So I went near her and hugged her tight. It breaks my heart seeing mom in this state every damn year.

"Mom, stop crying please. Why are you always wasting your time crying over a man who isn't worthy of your tears? It's not your fault mom." She hugged me back.

"It is Jennie. It's my fault why he left us. It's my fault for not loving him enough in order for him to stay with us."

My heart is breaking. I can't say any comforting words for my mom to stop her from crying because I felt what she's feeling right now. It's also my fault that Lisa couldn't love me back.

I just hugged mom while she's crying. She'll be asleep later because of exhaustion.

I'm sorry mom. I'm so sorry that you always felt this way. I'm sorry that I'm hating dad because he's the reason why you always feel like this.

"I love you mommy." I kissed her forehead and lay her down in the sofa. And left the study room.

I promise that you'll be happy someday. And I wished that I will be too, even without her by my side.
