28: let me in

Lisa's POV

"Have you heard from her?" I asked Jisoo unnie. It's been a day since the incident from Jennie's house happened. Apparently, she's not answering any of our calls and ignoring us when we visited her this morning. She's still in her room.

Jisoo unnie shook her head. "Even her mom couldn't do anything."

I sighed. "What about her father? Is he still here in Seoul?"

"I don't know. All I know is Jennie's father talked with her mom already after we ate breakfast that day." She said.

"Is she eating?" I asked. Jisoo unnie sighed. "I don't know Lis. She's not coming out in her room and we know that all the food inside her room was chips and beers."

"Damn it. Have you tried opening her door with the spare key?"

"All of the butlers and maids are afraid of their young lady Lisa. They won't even dare to knock on the door. Only auntie and I tried but failed."

"Can you drive me to the mansion unnie? I'm worried about her." I said. She got her keys on her pocket and stand.

"Let's go. We'll go to Chaeyoung's then to the grocery anf then we'll go to Jennie's. Okay?"

I nodded. "Thank you unnie."

She held my hand. "Just comfort her and let her open up to you, okay?"

I nodded and smiled. "Okay."

Jennie's POV

"....baby?"

"Jennie...."

A beautiful voice wake me up on my deep slumber. Ugh. My head hurts. I sat on the floor and hold my head. Gosh, I fell asleep while drinking. I look around and saw cans of beer, bag of opened chips, and cigarettes scattered on the mat. I sighed.

I heard a knock. "Jennie, it's Lisa."

Lili.

"Can I come in, Love?" She softly asked behind the door. And then I burst out, crying again.

Lili. It hurts so much.

"Jen please, I'm worried about you. Can I open the door? I borrowed the spare key and I brought foods." She added.

I sniffed and wipe my tears. I don't want her to see me like this.

But, I wanted to see her too. She's the one that can calm my mind. My safe haven. My peace.

"Okay." I quietly said. Gosh, my voice sounded hoarse.

Lisa's POV

I unlocked the door and opened it. I saw Jennie sitting while holding her head. She looked at me. Her eyes were puffy and her nose is red. I went near her and sat beside her. She rested her head on my shoulder so I wrapped my arm around her and kissed her head.

"You can talk to me you know that right?" I said. I felt her nod.

"I told you I don't like you seeing me crying." She said. I smiled a little.

"And I told you it's okay to cry. I wouldn't judge you. Dont you trust me, Nini?" I asked. She pulled away and looked at me.

"Of course I trust you Lili. It's just that... I don't want you to see me being this emotional and weak." She said. I sighed.

I held her hand. "Jennie, you're not being emotinal. You're hurt and angry. Your feelings are always valid okay? You're not weak because you're crying. Humans cry when they're hurt. I'm here okay?" I said. She looked at me sadly.

"I wish you were there when things got out of control." She said. I knew she's talking about all the times that I've neglected her back then. And the time that she's in Paris.

I rested my forehead against hers. "I know. And I'm still sorry for that. I still regret what I did to you back then. I'm sorry, Jennie." I said. She closed her eyes.

"I forgave you a long time ago Lili. Sometimes I just wish that things didn't turn out the way it did."

I kissed her forehead. "I love you okay? Just let me in. Talk to me when things overwhelmed your mind. I'll always be here."

She hugged me. "Thank you, Lili. I love you too, so much."

"Let's eat, okay? I brought you foods." I said. She smiled a little and nodded.

Jisoo's POV

We saw Lisa leaving Jennie's room. We're all waiting here outside because we're all worried.

"How is she?" Chaeng asked.
"She's fine now. She ate and then I let her sleep." She asked. She looked at me and said, "Unnie can we please talk outside?"

So I nodded. Chaeyoung, Lisa, and I went to the garden.

"What do you want to talk about?" I asked.

"I cleaned her room Unnie. She's been drinking all day but what bothers me is that I think Jennie was smoking too." She said.

"Did you know about it? That she smokes?" She added. I sighed. I thought Lisa knew.

I nodded. "She started smoking when she's stress. It's what keeps her calm Lisa."

"When did it started exactly?"

"When you and Jungkook happened." I said.

She looked down. "I really brought her a lot of pain didn't I?" She said quietly. I tap her shoulders then she looked up.

"You're also the one who taught her that loving didn't always ended up with hurting and pain, Lisa." I said.

"Sometimes there are circumstances that inevitably happen for us to learn and realize something. Yes, you hurt Jennie but Jennie hurt you too when she left. But look, you two found your way again to each other. So please, don't beat yourself to what happened in the past. Just talk to Jennie about it okay? Forgive yourself Lisa. Jennie already did. I wish you will too."

She hugged me so I hugged her back. "Thank you Unnie."

"Group hug!" Chaeyoung shouted. We laughed.
