Chapter 30: A little raincheck
Jihoon had listened to what Nami had gone through, all of the things she had felt. The little details that made her 'hate' his brother, the reason why she's hell bend on denying his brother's apparent intention.
Jihoon now knows why Joshua was protecting her while at the same time being also trying so hard to stop himself from loving her. Of course, every time Joshua tries, he'll drop harder. He had promised Seungcheol and Jeonghan to stay out of it. They both did that until Seungcheol has been comforting Wonwoo, motivating him and Jeonghan with Joshua.
It'll be world war for them, and it's not going to look pretty. So Jihoon had to talk to the main person of the problem, Seo Nami.
Seeing her at first, he had thought talking to her was going to be easy. She was cold. It was better to tell the truth, and get done with it, let her chose to let go or held on. She told him everything about how his brother had treated him. He knows why you couldn't answer love itself.
Both held an essential key to her heart, and she was not ready to open her heart for any of them, but she couldn't let go either.
"I have no advice for you," Jihoon said, "They both are special for you, and we can't deny that now it's up to you and your heart, don't find the person who made like you couldn't be you."
Jihoon stands up from his place, "I wish you good luck, Seo Nami. The choices you will make will impact the boys, but you know your choices and your heart. I trust you enough."
"But please, I beg you not because of work-related or us being idols but as a human being, don't make them suffer from silence. Words hurt, but silence is deadly."
He saunters before petting your shoulders.
"Nami..." Nami looks back to see Jihoon throwing something at her, it was a key card, and she looks up.
"You'll be working with Hybe. Here's your key card for work and to my studio," her eyes widen to look at a card key of his studio.
"If you're going to run away from them until you're ready, run to my studio. It's better that way, for them not to panic."
