Chapter 38: Questionable

"You are going to let those fries go bad if you keep stabbing it with your fork," Seoyeon looks at her friend, who was mindlessly stabbing her fries.

"Yah! The fries didn't do anything to you...." Jiwon looks at her friend, grabbing her fork away.

"Did you think I did the right thing?" Nami asked her two friends, who looked at her. The three of them had agreed to hang out together. But of course, Nami had been out of it.

"Nami... is this how you spend your day daydreaming again?" Ji won asked, and Seoyeon chuckled.

"You should see her when she's in love. That's even crazier," Seoyeon said, and Jiwon couldn't help to laugh while Nami was pouting.

"Do you think I shouldn't have taken the offer to go back?" They looked at her.

"Which part? The part where you're going back or the part you didn't tell Wonwoo yet?" Seoyeon asked her.

"Ah... she did tell Joshua though...." Jiwon said. "If that makes you better, Nami, at least you had told someone, they won't panic too much."

"Are you seriously not telling Wonwoo? Are you seriously going to wait until you leave?" Seoyeon asked her friend, and Nami was silent.

"Then I guess I'm honoured to be your best friend. I was beginning to think Jihoon was taking my place. You've been hanging out with him since you were dating Wonwoo." Joshua teases Nami, who is scratching her neck.

"I guess I was just used to blowing my thoughts on you, and you were not there. I guess Jihoon began to fill in the blanks..." Nami whisper. She looks at Joshua, "But you don't need to worry. I don't like Jihoon like that, I can assure you that."

"Of course..." Joshua laughs, "Every time you look at Wonwoo, hearts would come out of your eyes."

I guess everything should be alright, Joshua thought.
