Sam returns to Sanctuary and goes to plug in the power core.
Lt Davis: That thing looks like it could power the shields for months, years even.
Sam plugs it in and it seemed to work fine.
Lt Davis: Alright, I think we're in bus- what the hell?
Angel's face appeared on the screens, Sam was confused.
Sam: Angel?
Jack: You know. I think it's time I told you that little secret. Angel's working for me
Sam: What!?
Angel: Lowering Sanctuary's shields Jack..
Sam: Angel what are you doing!?
Angel: I'm sorry.. executing phase shift
Sam: No!
The shields disappear.
Lt Davis: That's not a power core! Raiders, the shields are down! The shields-
Lt Davis was hit by a missile killing him. Alarms go off throughout the city.
Jack: Nicely done Angel! Now, let's kill ourselves some Vault Hunters!
Roland: What the hell!? Did something just broke through the shield!?
Sam: The power core was a trap! The shields down!
Scooter: Oh man! Somebody start getting everybody underground!
Lilith: Everybody! I've got a really bad idea! Scooter, get Sanctuary in the air! Roland, get me some eridium!
Scooter: Pretty sure we can't do that without killing I don't know, everyone in the city. It ain't ready to fly Lily!
Roland: You've got your orders Scooter, MOVE!!
Scooter: Sam meet me in the center of town! I'ma need your help real bad!
Sam rushes to the center of town, missiles were flying in from Helios to Sanctuary. There was dead bodies and destruction all around. Sam makes it to Scooter.
Scooter: Okay, if we cycle the ignition primers, it'll get us somewhere!
Sam quickly does that and it was ready to go.
Scooter: Alright we're primed! Everybody get ready!
A crash came from HQ.
Roland: I'm pinned soldier! I can't get the eridium to Lilith! Get to me quick!
Lilith: I need that Eridium! Get to Roland! We need that eridium or we're dead!
Sam rushes to the HQ and grabs the eridium, Roland told him to just grab it and go. He rushes back to Lilith and gives the eridium to her.
Lilith: I've never used this much eridium before, you might wanna hold onto something!
A bright purple light surrounds the city but it teleports Sam out of Sanctuary.
Lilith: Sorry kid! That was accident! I'll see you on the other side though I promise! Hit it Scooter!
The city starts to rise off the ground.
Scooter: Man this one of them moments! CATCH-A-RIIIIDE!!!
Jack: That's the best you got? A flying city? What could you chumps POSSIBLY have that makes you think you've got a chance against me?
Roland: A Siren
Lilith: Sup
The city gets teleported away shaking the whole area
