╰┈➤It had been a few minutes and I was still sitting in the same spot. The main doors opened and Mom and Hopper walked through them.
"Hey. Y/n? Jesus, what-- what happened?" "Ma'am..." "I'm fine." I said to her. "Why is she wearing handcuffs?" "Well, your daughter assaulted a police officer. That's why." "Take them off." "I am afraid I cannot do that." "Take them off!" "You heard her. Take them off." Hopper said.
Thanks Hop. "Chief, I get everybody's emotional here, but there's something you need to see." Hopper and the 2 other police officers walk out of the station. They then come back with a box. "I have nothing to do with that." I said. "Why don't you ask your brother? We found it in his car." Hopper said.
"Why are you going through my car?" Jonathan said. "Is that really the question you should be asking right now? I wanna see you in my office." "You won't believe me." "Why don't you give me a try?" "Can you guys take these handcuffs off me now?" I said. Hopper looked at me. One of the other cops sighed and then took them off me.
We walked into Hopper's office. Jonathan and Nancy showed us a picture of this thing that Jonathan took a photo of. "You say blood draws this thing?" Hopper asked. "We don't know." "It's just a theory."
Jonathan and Mom walked out to talk to one another. There was some yelling from down the hall and Hopper left to go see what was happening. Some minutes later he came and told us everything. That Mike and his friends were with the girl that Hopper was talking about before.
We all got into Mom's car and drove all the way to Nancy's house. But when we got there, there were people grabbing boxes and other things from her house.
"I have to go home." Nancy said. "No, you can't." Hopper said to her. "My mom...my dad are there." "They're gonna be okay." She tried walking to her house, but Hopper stopped her. "Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey." "Let go." "Hey! Listen to me. Listen to me. The last thing in the world we need is them knowing you're mixed up in all of this." "Mike is over there-" "They haven't found him. Not yet, at least." He pointed to a helicopter that was flying in the sky.
"For Mike?!" "Come on, get in the car." Nancy was pushed back into the car. Hopper turned to us. "Look, we need to find them before they do. Do you have any idea where he might have gone?" "No, I don't." "I need you to think." "I don't know. We haven't talked a lot. I mean, lately..." "Is there any place that your...your parents don't know about that he might go?" "I don't know." "I might" I said; they all looked at me. "What?" "I don't know where he is, but I think I know how to ask him."
We pulled up to my house. We all ran out of the car and into the house. The house was a mess. Nancy stopped and looked around. "Whoa." I heard her say. I was leading them all to Will's room. I ran over to his desk and started looking through it.
