I'm sorry, Lime... we were supposed to win together...
That is the first thought that comes to my mind when Lime's scream tears me away from the conversation with the Crewmates. His accusatory gaze of betrayal bores into my soul as he plunges down into the lava pit.
I mean, I know that the lava is not really lava and that it is really just a huge orange bouncy mat, but I'm sure that it's still a really painful landing for him... and it's all my fault.
If only I had solely blamed Purple. Then we would have already won... together.
But of course, my mouth had to be the faster worker as compared to my brain, as usual.
Not to mention that my family mantra when it comes to things like discussions is something along the lines of, "Blame first, discuss later". I mean, everyone does the same, right? Especially in Among Us, when no one uses their brain to their advantage... and if you actually do, you're the odd one out. Either that, or you'll be ejected or killed pretty quickly... as what had happened to Cyan, right?
Anyway, no matter the reason for what I have done... I'm sorry, Lime. I promise that I'll win... for you.
Ding-ding! My tablet rings out as the thump sound reverberates from the pit.

Lime was An Impostor.
1 Impostor remains.

Those incriminating words flash on my device as I inhale deeply.
Trying my best to hide the overwhelming guilt crushing me with the weight of its waves, I force a smile as I look around at the Crewmates.
"Well? I told you that he was An Impostor!" I chuckle mischievously.
"Good work, Red," Brown murmurs as he slaps my back affirmatively. "You did it!"
I did it, indeed. I betrayed my Impostor partner... for the first time in our friendship. And now, I've broken it...
"Hey, Black... you've been standing there for a while already," Brown calls out to Black, who is standing stock-still at the lava pit, as if truly shocked at the discovery that Lime was An Impostor. "You okay? The meeting has ended already, y'know. Lime was An Impostor, in case you didn't see."
'And you looked like you were just fraternising with him.' went unsaid.
Instead, he continues with a scoff that does not fit him in the least.
"I told you so, Black. Lime was obviously just playing you in his little game of chess, and you let him do so."
Lime, I'm sorry... Please don't be mad at me for long...
I'll win this game for you. I will.
But man... Black though. Why is she still standing there? I mean, she does like him a bit... wait. Could she be...?
Oh gosh. OH GOSH. Don't tell me... UGH.
She's pining for him.
Disgust filling me, I leave the scene, not wanting to see her mourning over my obviously single best friend any longer.
"B-Black? A-Are you o-okay? You're... You're trembling a little..." Purple stutters suddenly, making me stop in my tracks and stare at her as she herself quivers slightly.
