The Future Hawkmoth: Part One. The beginning of a new era.

Adrien's POV

Hopefully, Marinette has no clue about my surprise. Next time don't let Plagg choose the music, or at least not the volume. Nevertheless, he is my best friend. He also deserves a good life. I wonder what life would have been without Plagg and all the heroic stuff. How did Marinette's life change since she met Tikki? And what would have happened if I got Tikki and she got Plagg? I also have many questioning marks about Hawkmoth/Shadowmoth/my own father. He lied to me all that time. He wanted to ruin everyone's life to make his one better. But what if he got the miraculouses and woke my own mother up from her coma? Would she be happy? Would she forgive her husband for all the risks he took, all the damage he made, and everything else? Would she feel guilty? Angry? Scared of all the things that happened? Happy to see me? But by healing a person who was in a coma, someone else will come into a coma. That would probably have been me, the one who made the wish (probably my father) or the guardian of the miracle box. That means that the chance of losing another loved one was huge. Only if the "god-guardian" Su-Han would die, no one will even know what happened. I don't want to die. I don't want Marinette to die or lose her memory. She is my everything. She still feels like a mom to me. Even though she is my wife. Yes, I call her my wife, my lady, my world, my life, and every word which means the same. We may not be married yet, but she is more than a friend to me, more than a fiancée. She is my everyday bride. I could write a book about her, or us together, or just all the things that happened after I saw her the first time. It reminds me of the first time I saw her as Ladybug. I was so in love with all the pros and cons of her. I was too much in love with Ladybug that I did not notice that Marinette was in love with me. It is still weird to believe that she loved me but say Chat Noir just as a friend. But I was also that way. I called Marinette a friend too much. What were we dumb! I think Alya wanted us to be together since the moment we met or after she found out we were perfect for each other. Maybe other people knew we were made for each other. I guess Master Fu and Marinette's parents for sure. But about my parents. *sighs* My father only wanted me to break up with her because he wanted to akumatize her. But Mom... 

Today is the day, we are going to my father as Chat Noir and Ladybug. I hope I will not get emotional. After that visit, we also have to visit Nathalie and Gorilla (or whatever his name is). Nathalie was like a mother to me. I now understand that she was like an adult version of Marinette. Nathalie only wanted to see my father happy. Wanted to see me happy. Luckily, she never got akumatized by my father. But Gorilla did. He was the best bodyguard I ever had. He liked superhero dolls and figures. I used to give him every year him two figures. One for his birthday and one for Christmas. On Christmas Eve he was celebrating with his family. While Nathalie stayed by us. I was very lucky to have them to look after me. They might not be as good as real parents could be, but they did the best they could. It's hard to believe that they are "old" now. They both stopped working very, very hard. Nathalie is still doing stuff online, but less than a couple of years ago. Gorilla works at a college as a janitor. That job also suits him very well. I want to see him again and his smile when he always sees me. It makes me even happy.

"Daddy?" asked Hugo.

I was shocked, by hearing a voice while I was thinking about everything.

"O hey, Hugo. What are you doing here? Did mommy asked you to come here?"

"No, I wanted to go to the toilet but I smelled a delicious scent of your food creations."

"Does mommy know you are here?"

"I don't think so. Can I help? What are you making?"

"Something for your mommy. Can you decorate her plate?"

"Yes, it smells delicious, mommy will love it for sure. What do you want me to make?"

"I am preparing eggs, pancakes, and little sausages. Could you place the eggs and the pancakes in the shape of a heart, the sausages in the shape of the infinity sign, and write a letter with the text: Love you for infinity."

"That's cute. But maybe you could write better than me, don't you?"

"No, you and your sister and little brother got the handwriting from your mother. Mine is disgusting. Do you want to do it?"

"Yes, daddy. You know, you're the best daddy."

Hugo is so sweet. Always wants to help everyone. He reminds me of myself when I was young. But he has a loving dad. I don't.

"Daddy, don't look sad. Mommy will love this."

"I know Hugo."

Wow, the eggs, pancakes, and sausages look great.

"Here, Hugo. The eggs first."

"Can I taste a little bit?"

"At the end. You get the little leftovers. But don't tell Emma and Louis. You get those for helping me."

"Thank you, father."

I walked to Hugo and the plate he decorated.

"You're as talented as your mother."

 I smiled to let him know, that he is a good boy.

"Here, done. You have to bring it. I will go back to Emma and Louis. No one will ever know that I was here. Just tell mommy you made everything."

"Thank you, Hugo. Here are the leftovers. You can help me more often in the future. Maybe I can learn you how to prepare all those delicious food."

"Thank you. Hope to learn much. I love father-son time. See you later."

Adrien watched Hugo ran back to his room and walked slowly to the dining table.
