Chapter 4

The sun was coming over the horizon and was peering into through the window in the room landing on the two that were snuggled in the bed. I opened my sleepy eye's and looked around at my surroundings until they landed on the arms of Vik that was spooning her from behind. As i laid there in his arms i couldn't help but run my hands up and down his arms squeezing his biceps. After a bit turned over facing towards him not noticing how close we were. I looked up at his sleeping face that was wrinkle and stress free. Without thinking I placed her hand on his tracing it with me finger. I saw his face twitch and his eye's slowing flutter open and glance down at her, just now I noticed how close our faces were that one movement we would have kissed which I wouldn't complain if I did, I giggled. in my head. "How do you feel?" he asked "I feel like shit and my head is pounding" she replied he placed his hand on my face and rubbed his thumb on my cheek, leaving a kiss on my forehead before untangling himself from me and getting up, and heading out of the bedroom. 

I laid there thinking about yesterday as I waited for him to come back. It was 3minutes later when I decided on taking a shower. I got up from the bed and mad way over to his bathroom and stripped of my dirty cloths and hopped in the warm shower. While showering I looked around the shower looking for the shampoo and conditioner. Finally finding it I squirted some on my hand and washed my hair 10 minutes later I turned off the water and grab a towel and wrapping it around my body and stepping out of the bathroom. I walked back into the room not noticing Vik sitting there on the bed with Shiloh next to him holding a bottle of pills in his hand. Once she noticed Vik she stopped freezing as I spotted him staring at me in only a towel. "Uh, I brought you some pills for your headache and hers a change of clothes, he gets up handing me the stuff. "Uh I'll let you change." I nodded slowly as he backs away and walking out of the room. 

After that encounter I quickly got changed and left the room looking around his house after a few attempts at finding Vik and Shiloh failing. Suddenly a delicious scent penetrated my nose that made my tummy growl. I looked around to make sure no one was around and continued my way in the direction of the food which led me to the kitchen where I saw Vik standing at the stove cooking still shirtless and his sweats that hung low on his hips and showed his v-line. I leaned against the trip of the doorway watching him move throughout the kitchen and Shiloh following. My face flushed red thinking of all the dirty thinks that he could do with those arms of his.

Lost in thought I didn't see that Vik had noticed me and made his way over snapping out of my dirty thoughts I looked up finally noticing him Infront of me " I see your finally covered, even though I was enjoying the show" he laughed shaking his head. After he said that my face turned so red that it looked like she got slapped with red paint. When he saw her blush his eye's trailed down her body and back up to her face. "You hungry? I'm making grilled cheese" he said I nodded, and we both made our way over to the table him pulling mine out before he sat in his Shiloh made his way over to me and sat by my side. We both smiled at each other and chatted in between eating after we finished our food, we cleaned up the Kitchen me drying and putting them away while every time Vik handed me a dish our fingers would touch which cause shocks to shoot through their bodies. 

After all the cleaning was done, I looked down at my watch and saw it was about 3 pm noticing that I pouted knowing I'd have to leave and didn't want to leave Vik. I looked over at him "Hey, Vik I got to head out" I said "Alright then sweetheart I'll see Ya later" we both hugged and me and Shiloh left through the door. Once outside both me and Shiloh entered my car, I started it up and we drove home. Once arriving at home, we headed upstairs me doing my daily things and changing and Shiloh chewing his toy. Once finished I headed back our saying goodbye to Shiloh who whined when I closed the door and made my way to my car and drove it to the spot, I was meeting V before we headed to the location of the gig it was. We snooked into the building killing anyone who was in our way once that was over me and V made sure to check the whole building to make sure none were left. Checking everything we forgot to check a room not paying attention the door opened and a gun shot rang throughout the whole building I looked over at V who was looking at me with a panicked face. I gave her a confused look until I watched here her eyes were looking at. I looked down where she was looking and saw I was bleeding. I looked back up at V and it felt like I was in slow motion as I feel backwards and hitting the floor. I couldn't move from the pain from my wound and I couldn't hear much. I looked at the ceiling [This is how I'm going to die I thought.] as I laid their V finished the guy and ran over to me. "Laura, Laura!" she screamed at me as she took my body into her arms and carrying me to the car. I couldn't really move or say anything so I just looked at her. She ran with me to my car placing me in the passenger seat and heading to the driver's seat and hopping in. We drove off and all i could do is look out the window and my eye's closing feeling tired and passed out.

V's Pov

I looked over at Laura and saw she passed out I quickly called Misty {Hey V everything alright?" she asked, "No it's not Laura had been shot, I'll be there in 5" I said I heard a gasp from other end of the phone "Alright V I'll tell Vik "She hung up the phone. Once arriving at Misty's shop i quickly pulled over ran to the passenger side opening the door and picking Laura up in my arms and running her to Vik, I ran inside to Vik workplace and saw him there. he ran over to me and grabbed Laura out of my arms and place her in the chair and started working on her. I sat down on the chair putting my head into my hands and praying that she would be alright and after that I didn't know when I fell asleep.

What will happen? 

will Laura live or will she die?
