I went home and got a text from Luke.
Luke:"Srry I ran. I had to go somewhere."
Me:"Where'd you have to go?"
Luke:"Home."
Me:"Oh."
Luke:"Babe, Im srry."
Me:"Its fine. Anyways, whats up with ashton?"
Luke:"Nun. Y?"
Me:"U ran. Then he told me 2 go away."
Luke:"Oh."
Me:"Yah. Gtg."
Luke:"Night babe."
After that I shut my eyes and fell asleep. I woke up at 3:00a.m. and realized I should still be asleep, but I'm not. Then it popped in my head. Is Ashton okay? So, I got out of bed, snuck downstairs, and out the front door. I went out to Ashton's bedroom window and knocked on it. Ashton looked out the window and then soon opened it."What?"
"Were you okay today?" I asked.
"Oh. You think I'm going through something. Haha. No. I had Luke come over so I could tell him something important to him. Not to me." Ashton explained.
"What's wrong with Luke then?" I question.
"He doesn't want you to know." Ashton says, then closes to window.
What does he not want me to know? I'm trust worthy, at least I think. Now, I'm asking myself. Is Luke okay? What's Luke worried about? These thought made it hard for me to sleep after I got back home in bed. I was so confused. Why is this guy thing so complicated? Ugh!!!!
I opened my eyes realizing I need to get ready. I just randomly threw on some clothes and went to school. Once I got to school, I went straight to first class. I took my seat and sat there. Then Luke walked in and sat behind me.
"What's wrong?" I quickly ask.
"Nothing." He smiled.
"What did Ashton tell you yesterday?" I was confused.
"It's stupid. Nothing to worry about." He told me.
"Lies! It's bothering you! I know it!" I raised my voice.
"Cassidy. Quiet down a bi-"
I cut him off,"No tell me! Now!"
"Cass. Quiet down. It's not important."
"Tell me!"
"Shut up!" Luke rushed out of the classroom. Then I got a text.
Luke:" My mother is in the fucking hospital dying okay! Does that make you feel better! I told you! There! God! Your so uptight! Why wouldn't you just quiet the fuck down?!"
Once I read that my heart dropped thousands of feet deep. I didn't know how to react. Luke was furious at me, and I embarrassed him in front of the class. At this point I didn't know what to do. Should I text him back? Should I say sorry? What do I do? I'm a fuck up!
